In short, AVOID,AVOID, AVOID!!!!! INSTALLERS DAMAGED MY…read morePROPERTY and the owner took over 5 months to attempt to issue me a refund for a low-profile microwave that installers were not able to install. In August of 2025, my wife and I bought several kitchen appliances from the now defunct Morehead City location. Once we finished our kitchen renovations, we scheduled delivery. We found out the staff that sold us the appliances left. We were given a contact and ended up getting our appliances delivered in October of 2025. Right off the bat, I realized the installers were inexperienced and lacked attention to detail. They dropped the microwave right on my brand new quartz countertop (thankfully just left a smudge that wiped off), drug the dishwasher on my flooring, without having any regard for my home. The kicker is that they drug the refrigerator up my deck using a dolly, smacking each step one at a time. Lastly, as they maneuvered the fridge inside, they drug/scraped my newly built deck by dragging the dolly sideways with the fridge, damaging several portions of composite decking. They were not able to install the low-profile above the range microwave and they told me they would find another unit that would fit... I was told explicitly they would call me the following business day. They never called, but rather someone from the store/one of the installers called me almost a week later to ask "how the installation went".... Um hello? Either way I made them aware of how badly the installation went and how I was not called with a replacement microwave. At this point my wife & I got in touch with a manager (also now no longer with The Appliances Superstore). The manager had no idea about what took place and assured us everything would be taken care of. Specifically, he attempted to make arrangements to meet us at the property. However, it never happened due to scheduling issues (we live full-time in central VA). As of now , March 2026. I AM STILL WAITING ON A REFUND!. And the owner refuses to help me at all with any damage done to my property. The kicker for me is that the owner is an Instructor at the ECU School of Business and has deplorable communication & business practices. So if you are needing appliances in the Eastern NC area, be sure to get your appliances from Lowe's or Home Depot instead.

I was given their name and number by the online people that made my cordless string trimmer so I…read morecalled and she insisted mine was gas powered when of course it was not. I chose not to get gas powered because they are too hard to start. Anyway mine stopped working (charging) and I was hunting for a "recommended service center" which the company that makes it assured me would be able to help. I had already figured out that I needed a new battery by using the manual. She said she carries batteries for mowers and once I insisted the trimmer needed a battery as well she said she could order one but the third time she got rude I'd had enough. I got tired of her pointing out she was the owner as well. Basically she treated me like most men do, that I don't know what I am talking about. I never bothered to find out the price, I moved on to the next one on the list. If it had to be ordered I could just buy online and get it here at least as fast, right to my house and probably cheaper anyway. Girl, I know it's hot out but don't take it out on customers!
