After he left I tried the dishwasher and again it wouldn't fill on the rinse cycle. The motor ran and ran and ran for 20 minutes - I added water and the cycle rinsed. When I called him the next day - he told me "if the dishes are clean - what is the problem" it seems to work in his mind. He wanted me to let the motor run and run until it ceased. I guess I should have know because he came for a quote and when I called him after 1 month - he didn't know my name, what my issue was and said he would call me right back. It took him several day to call back and note that "the part was lost in the mail" - he had just ordered it. I told him I would just forgo the repair and pay the service fee but he assured me that he could fix it and the part would come in the mail in 2 days.... He said repair guaranteed - but when I called to let him know he didn't fix it...he couldn't wait and listen to the whole cycle - again if the dishes are clean - no problem. I find this ignorant and condescending and I think he is a thief...he takes money without fixing the problem....that to me does not sound like a place you would want to call for repairs. CC says the original price was a "mistake" and pointed out their weasel words buried somewhere in their website. Don't get suckered into paying more than the advertised price at CC! From online reviews this problem seems to have a bit of a pattern with them. If this happens to you get your money back and spend elsewhere. This is his last year there and reflecting back I have to say that the caregivers have done an excellent job in helping raise my son. I credit the team with potty training him, trying new foods, teaching him respect and manners just to name a few. Over the years there has been plenty of impressive activities such as yoga, dance, singing, Christmas concerts, show & tell and even the odd field trip in the neighborhood. The facility is professionally set up and well maintained as a daycare and has dedicated areas geared towards the specific groups to aid in their development at their specific age range. The caregivers/teachers are all professional accredited and certified and genuinely care bout the children. My son has learned to read and write all of the alphabet as well as numbers to 20 and they have now even started simple math additions. Our girl can speak quite well, and would tell us of them putting her and other kids down. A few examples: they told our 4 year old that her baby brother ate cleaner and that she "eats like a baby". They would announce who the last one to get their shoes on was and that they didn't get the toys that quicker kids would get outside. I even heard from another parent that Christine put down the mother to the child. They are reprehensible. Other odd things were that they had to have their blankets over their heads for naps...who knows what the reason is for that. Did they not want them to see what they were up to....? Beyond this, we heard both of these caregivers yelling at kids when we were in the coat room area multiple times. The other rooms of this daycare are good. Margaret in the baby room was great and the people from the toddler room seem good as well. However, Elizabeth is the manager and Anthea is her daughter, the apple doesn't fall far there. I heard Elizabeth yelling at kids multiple times when she didn't know someone was there. I would recommend other daycares if you are planning any long term care.
