Appalled by this new addition to a dental and beauty practice that was amazing - False claims and history of new "aesthetician" Helena Tepper at Bowhouse Dental
Bowhouse Dental used to be a totally professional practice, based close to my parents in Tring, and which we, as a family, regularly used to go to.
Dental side of the firm, I have no complaints about, but the recent extension into spa, beauty, face lifts and Lipo treatments have left me utterly disappointed, following treatment, and upon some basic internet research, furious that the so called professional they have running this area - Helena Tepper - is not, as the Bowhouse website claims, in any way properly qualified, and not at all as experienced and "expert" as her quoted history claims.
The Bowhouse Dental website states:
"Keeping up her passion for beauty, Helena has become a leading Skin and body Aesthetician with over 20 years' experience and the CIBTAC, IIHHT and BABTAC advanced aesthetician qualifications to her name. She has worked both nationally and internationally training doctors and experts in the analysis and treatment of the skin.
Helena is fully qualified to carry out all our advanced body and facial procedures from the 3D Skin med and LIPO body treatments, HIFU face lifts, as well as treatments and products for the general health of the skin."
I wasted more than £100 on terrible skin treatments, and rude, dismissive "therapy" by Ms Tepper herself, possibly the worst ever advertising for beauty once you meet her face to face, since she now looks nothing like her image on Bowhouse Dental. I would imagine that retouched headshot is at least 20 years old. Her face today is not exactly an example anyone would use for glowing skin, peppered as it is with pock marks, blackheads and what I would guess is a poorly done recent face lift.
Having checked with CIBTAC and BABTAC, two of the national bodies for beauty treatments, both confirmed upon my complaints, that Helena Tepper holds no "advanced aesthetics"" training or qualifications, but did earn basic-only beautician credits from MORE THAN 20 YEARS AGO!?! They also confirmed that it was "extremely unlikely" that the Bowhouse Dental claim regarding Helena Tepper having worked "nationally and internationally training doctors and experts" was in any way correct. What doctor, after all, would need any training from an individual qualified only up to the level of applying lipstick and make up? I am taking their "extremely unlikely" as actual, outright lying by this woman.
I should, I admit, have taken more note of her half a lifetime ago team member photo, and questioned why all the other staff have photos of themselves clearly taken at the practice, in uniform, and during the last couple of years.
None of the Bowhouse team have ever offended or under-delivered, and their pictures are not retouched, honest and recent.
It's obvious to me, now, that the antique, retouched representation of Helen Tepper, may be dating back to her claimed discovery "by an agent at age 14". Perhaps this deluded person is living in some kind of fantasy that bears as little resemblance to her real history, experience and qualifications as her team picture does to her face today.
Disgusted.
