Buyer beware. I had negotiated a purchase for a new Jeep with them which involved a trade. They eventually upped the trade value to make the deal happen. Signed papers, went to the bank and cut a bank check for the balance. Planned on picking up my new Jeep first thing in the morning but got a call the night before stating that they had made a mistake on one of the rebates because it required NH residency. They knew from the outset that I didn't live in NH and nothing on their promotions or any of our discussions mentioned this. They offered then, at the 11th hour, to meet me half way which coincidentally would have negated the majority of the trade increase. Sounds a bit fishy to me. I declined and moved on. I'm left having to believe that there are only two possible explanations. Either 1) they were pulling some form of a bait and switch trying to get me to up my contribution to offset the trade concession or 2) the sales staff is incompetent and doesn't understand or disclose the incentives they are offering to the customer. In either case I have lost all confidence in Bournival Jeep. I only post this to make others aware of the potential for unnecessary game playing. Don't get caught. Please consider more reputable or competent alternatives. It could save you money and aggravation. read more
