I will start with the positive... All of the people working at the bar that i interacted with were nice and had good personalities.
Many of the other venue staff... ushers, security, anyone.... walked around with this false sense of importance. A lot of unnecessary bossiness. The worst being one of the security guards at the front of the venue... Short white man with a tight haircut and an interesting shaped nose... probably about 35 years old, puffed out chest and lots of smirking. He got in a guy's face about having his thin scarf over the barrier. During the concert, there were two men in the second row in their mid 30s who were yelling requests during softer songs and being generally obnoxious drunks. When the people in the audience asked them to cool down, they started getting nasty. The security guard who had such a nice time getting in someone's face about a scarf was made aware of the situation, and did absolutely nothing. Big Macho Man until he's actually needed. Some of the other security guards seemed like decent people though.
The seating plan is very square. I can imagine it being difficult to see the stage from the back, especially if you're too far toward either side,
The stage looked about 6' tall and the front row looked like it could hold over 40 people.
I don't know if it changes from night to night, but when I was there two nights ago, beers cost £4.50 and shots were £3.
This venue is easy to find and located in a cute area of Bournemouth. It looked like there were lots of pubs nearby. And there is a large parking garage right nextdoor.
