The saga continues when I call the office and say what is happening and that's when I keep getting transferred more then 8 times to the point where I ask for a live person and they still couldn't get me one and said she will call back and then doesn't! The. Ext day I call and say what happened again and said I need to have a live person now and they ok she's available and then transfer me to the wrong office I call back and they say oh sorry for that then send me to her line and of course answering machine!! Finally I was like I need a manager and does that help no!! She was the worse out of everything she was never available and when she was she ends up calling three to four hours later when I specifically told the receptionist " if I can't speak with her now then I need her to call within the hour I can't be sitting next to phone I need to work and this office has wasted enough of my time" the receptionist says "she will call you right back" No call three hours later she had called and so I go to call back and the receptionist says she sent you an email stating we tried to reach you and we can no longer take you as a client!! I was in shock!! They took half of a years income and lost everything. I asked for calls back which were ignored for weeks. Mr Bourget or Mr Pearson only cared when they got the notice they were fired. I got a call in minutes. They wanted to set up a meeting even though I told them I hired someone else. I said okay but I am not changing my mind and they canceled last minute days later. I lost custody of my kids thanks to there laziness. Avoid them. As soon as a more headline grabbing case comes along they throw you to the wolves. The lead attorney in the firm claims to have knowledge in areas of the law that she most definitely…read moredoes not, but she won't even admit it to herself. She worries more about judges liking her than she does about her clients. The associate attorney is in her office in the back of the building most of the time, so we are not familiar with her. Staff is great, but the managing/supervising attorney turns a blind eye to the lead attorney's mistakes, to the client's extreme detriment. RUN - Don't walk - AWAY from this firm - they may come across as nice, knowledgeable, and focused, but they are not, and when the metal hits the road, they leave you hanging. Especially the lead attorney - you cannot trust her to have your back - she is more focused on CYA than she is on advocating for her clients.
