He set up a virtual video interview, of sorts, with Ash to make sure the program would be a good fit for my son. My son is an adult with Autism. Ash and Conner were both on the virtual call. Ash spoke to and asked my son questions for approximately 45 minutes. He excused my son from the call and spoke to me for about 10 minutes. He said my son did great and would be just fine in the program and a great fit. Because of my son's Autism, Ash wanted to make sure my son would be able to engage, actively participate, and have the emotional and intellectual ability to participate. We were thrilled that this program would be able to help him and that he was a good fit. I changed three people's schedules in order to accommodate the M-F IOP schedule for 12-17 weeks. If you are familiar with Autism, you know that change is not something they are easily flexible with. It took a lot of explaining and hyping up the program for him to be open to it. When he found out the Ash said he'd be a great fit, and my son was SO HAPPY that he finally found a place that could help him, "not worry all of the time." We started on Monday, August 10th in the Riverton location. My son got in the car after his first day and said, "Mom! I'm not alone, other people worry like me." He also showed me a note card that the therapists asked everyone to write the ultimate goal for the program on. My son wrote, "that my OCD would go away and never come back." I called our extended family and let them know how wonderful it went and how invested my son was. We were SO HAPPY. On Tuesday, August 11th, Ash called me to discuss treatment (his voicemail). I called him back and he said they were going to discharge my son from the treatment. ONE DAY. He attended ONE DAY. I asked him did something happen or what the reason was. He said the therapists notes said my son was, "Unable to identify the root cause of his worry." ON THE FIRST DAY. I asked him how ANYONE would be able to do that on their first day and wasn't that what the program was supporsed to helpf their clients with. He said that was a very good question but did not elaborate. He also said the notes said that my son needed more support than the group could provide. I reminded Ash that he interviewed my son and said he would be a great fit and reiterated that HOW could anyone dealing with OCD be able to identify it's root cause in their orienation session? They wouldn't need to go the center if they could do that. The program is 12-17 weeks so how do they expect someone to do that on the first day. The amount of planning, rearranging, and energy it took to make space for my son to attend this program was massive. I am also a single mom and had to postpone another one of my non-driving children's enrollment for SLCC so I could make space to take my son to their program. If I could give this facility less than one star I would. I feel strongly that my son was discriminated against becasue of his disability. There is nothing I can do, but I want others to know what happened to my son and to my family. I had to lie (chose to) to my son and tell him I removed him because I found a better place, but I haven't. I was heartbroken for him because he felt included, accepted, and Ash said he did great and would be great for the group. He finally found others who "worry" like him and he so badly wanted help. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Dismissive and discriminatory. An absolute disservice to the community to treat people the way they treated my son.

When I finally started getting trickles of information through the person who the phone reaches (who is very nice and seems to be provided with little more information than is on the website), I was told someone would be contacting me, but I've haven't heard a thing for three weeks now. I've pretty much given up, and wanted to leave this review so others wouldn't waste as much time as I have. A final issue: Their website has either out-of-date or misleading information about financing. They apparently had a deal with a third party insurance billing company to significantly reduce the price, but when contacting them, that deal has long since expired. The price mentioned to me over the phone is also higher than the price on the website.

I received medical advice from a partial owner that conflicted with the doctor. I was instructed to do hyperthermia a second round daily by myself without the doctor knowing. When the Dr. found out, he told me to stop doing that. I was also told to take a supplement by the partial owner and then after I had purchased it, the Dr. told me absolutely not to take it. I did not get better. I was continuously told after I got home that they were going to talk to the doctor about my worsening symptoms and they pretty much blew me off. I am still paying off the costs from going here. I don't think they are bad people, but they were not specialized in treating gut challenges. When I worsened by the 2nd week there, they suggested I had a blockage in my intestine. If they truly thought I had a blockage, why did they not send me for a scan. I ended up going to a functional nutritionist and functional med dr. and both suggested a SIBO test after telling them my symptoms. It turned out I had SIBO, but this is 5 months after I left the clinic. The FAR Clinic claims to be a functional medicine clinic and they couldn't figure this out? They claim to be a research clinic but once I left the clinic they had me collect no data. I got occasional phone calls from an assistant checking in but no real data was collected. After all of that, they used a picture of me that I took on my camera for promotion of their clinic in a press release for lyme disease. I did not have lyme and I was not a happy customer. I had to call several times to get the picture taken down. I requested for the clinic to call me and no higher ups would return my phone call. I am utterly disappointed with this whole experience.

Honestly this heck of a place DO NOT deserve them. First week my family member was left in a recliner alone with no protection belt or recliner alarm (don't think they have it but if they do I've never seen it). When the fall incident happened I got a call from the male charge nurse who said she has "probably been on the floor for over 20-30 mins". Also said they take patients for a CT scan after a fall. That never happened. My family member complained to me that she is constipated and it's hurting. I expressed this to the staff BUT I was ignored and ofcourse they had the worse hemmoroid situation anyone could imagine. I personally had to go to Walgreens and got things to get her comfortable. Ofcourse afterwards they started her on stool softeners. Well let's not forget bed sores. She had so many bed sores that this establishment should be embarrassed of their existence. During all this going on my family member looked worse then when she came there from hospital. Had rash all over, back burning hot, confused, and many other things. They said it must be the soap they are using during bath!!!!!! I had to raise hel! and finally on 11th day of her having all these symptoms very ignorant short curly haired charge nurse called the doctor and got lab work done. Guess what? She had a UTI. WHENEVER I discuss her symptoms to anyone outside of this facility mostly medical professional's before I even finish my sentence they know it was a UTI but how in the heck this facility didn't???! After that she got 3 more UTI's at this facility. A day before her discharge from this heckhole I asked them I need it in black and white (in email) that I need to see if she is negative of UTI Ofcourse I got a call from a nasty nasty person going over her negative results but nothing in "black and white". Ofcourse when she arrived at the physical therapy inpatient rehab she tested positive for UTI. Made her stay from 12 days to 29 days. I know this review is long but please please please take your time and do some research and DONOT bring your worst enemy here unless you want them to suffer inhumanely manner. The leadership and management fosters an environment of abuse/work place violence. Once the patterned abuses/violence was reported, they blamed the wrong person and terminated two people who were the victims of the violence. They are always under staffed and the nursing staff likes to sit and not actually do patient care. That is an unsafe environment for patients due to nurse patient ratios. Leadership is not much to be desired. They are lazy and do not help their so called team. A new nurse can learn good skills but the they boast of paying competitively but the reality was, they under pay even the national median hourly pay. Working at western peaks, the LTAC behind south Davis community hospital was my absolute worst employer. I do not recommend them.
