I related to her personality and she had beautiful content, which i regret focusing too much on. Saw Karyl first on 2/3/18. Told her several times before coming I was skeptical about getting my eyebrows done because I've had problems with them my entire life. Karyl assured me she was the one to make it happen and give me "bomb brows." After I was done...I was super happy with them (picture posted with Karyl's writing of "ombré brows." 2/3/18) Went through the healing stages (took pictures every few days to show Karyl as she asked) and by 2/16/18 my eyebrows had looked exactly the same way they looked before I got them done! Picture posted! I texted Karyl and she said "don't worry, they will darken up and finally finish taking its course" 2/25/18, I show Karyl a picture of my brows after I filled them in and told her there is no shape on my right eyebrow and it literally looks like nothing was done. She tells me "we will go much darker next time and make sure the shape is there." 3/3/18 I ask Karyl if she thinks I'm going to need a third session after my touch up. She says "nope, you won't need it. We are going darker" and tells me it's due to the pigment she used. 3/19/18 I go see Karyl for my first "touch up" AKA redoing the entire process all over again because my eyebrows never lasted. I text her when I get home to tell her one eyebrow is arched higher than the other and looks thicker. She replied back and tells me she agrees that one is higher (text convo picture attached) but that she wants to see how they "heal." So now I'm walking around with eyebrows that don't match! That I paid good money for...for them to MATCH! I literally ask her if I should peel them off because they don't match and I am so embarrassed to walk around with two very different eyebrows. She tells me she wants me to be happy with my brows and to not hate her. I don't freak out, but I tell her I hope it's fixable. I text her throughout the next 8 weeks about my brows and take pictures...the right eyebrow still isn't sticking and my eyebrows have a totally messed up shape after Karyl gave me one arch higher than the other. 5/19/18 I go back in for my "touch up" and here we go again...doing the entire process over, but this time she tells me she thinks it was the numbing cream she used and that's why my eyebrows aren't staying. So I told her I would be fine without the numbing cream. I mean, I just want eyebrows that I paid for at this point! 5/28/18 I tell her the left brow is good at this point, but the right eyebrow is not. She tells me to let them fully heal. 6/29/18 I tell her my brows are looking good (compared to what I've been dealing with for 4 months) and that I need to schedule a touch up since my right eyebrow was almost gone (again) no reply... 8/4/18 I'm feeling bad for continuously bothering Karyl, but my eyebrows still need to be completed. Right eyebrow is non-existent at this point and the left eyebrow is fine (with a small area that needed touching up) so I text her asking if she got my text on 6/29/18. She tells me she got a new phone and never saw my message. She had to get 2 new phone replacements due to overheating. She never says anything about the touch up and I'm feeling weird at this point for continuously having to ask. 8/9/18 I finally ask her about my touch up and she tells me "$200 with a $50 deposit" she sends me her fee schedule in which it says 6 week to 3 month touch ups are $100. She tells me 8 week touchup is for your first time only and that she's already done my touch up "as a courtesy" I apologized as it must've been my mistake for thinking that when I initially paid for my eyebrows to be done back in February and they've never lasted more than two weeks....I wouldn't have to continuously spend more money to redo the process every 8 weeks. Please be careful with who you let touch your eyebrows. I am now walking around with two different shaped eyebrows and every place I have gone to tells me it's going to cost $600-$800 due to my eyebrows needing a full correction. I also referred my friend to Karyl and she experienced the SAME issue with her eyebrows not lasting more than a month. It's disappointing. read more

Karyl is so talented!!! I cannot even express how much more confident I feel about my eyebrows! I've always been so self conscious about my brows because they were very thin and didn't have shape at all. I tried growing them out many many times but the hair never grew how I wanted so I got the nerve to getting permanent make up in 2009??? from someone else in Las Vegas (I was younger and didn't do my research) So from 2009 to 2018 I ended up with still thin, very much faded eyebrows and an orange color base tone, I guess from the "custom brown" the previous lady used, YIKES! Anyways, I was catching up with a friend from high school who recommended Karyl. I followed @boundlessbeautypmu on Instagram for a while before booking but after seeing her posts of CONSISTENT work .. I finally scheduled and do not regret it! Her perfect lines and knowledge truly shows how great of an artist she is The actual process wasn't too bad, I have tattoos on my body so it was just a bit more sensitive because it's on your face ahaha but there is numbing prior plus we talked the whole time so it went fast. Karyl is so professional and BEAUTIFUL! She inspires me to maybe get into the permanent makeup industry! ** AFTER CARE -- was easy but she advised me of the peeling and darker brows prior to me leaving & she was easy to get a hold of for questions BTW she has a heart of gold! Before I came back for my touch up, I had mentioned in conversation that my daughter had to get stitches & when I came in for my 2nd appointment she had a sweet stuffed animal for my daughter, I literally cried when we opened it because she didn't have to I was so happy she was able to do my eyebrow cover up because I thought it wouldn't be possible But most of all I am glad to have made a new friend out of this experience! Some businesses only care about the money but she actually cares about her clients & so much more! One of the best things I've ever done for myself is to go to Karyl to get my eyebrows done! It makes the mornings so much easier since I don't have to take the time to fill them in. Karyl is meticulous when it comes to making sure your brows match! I was surprised at how long the mapping process takes. She wouldn't stop adjusting them until they were perfect. She notified me that one of my brows is a few centimeters higher than the other. That's perfectly normal since every one pretty much has asymmetrical faces. The first look at my brows did take adjusting to. I guess I was just used to looking at crooked brows for years lol. Keep in mind, after care is key! There have been plenty of times where I've wanted to scratch and pick at my brows. But that'll definitely mess up the healing process. To this day, my right brow is still a little lighter than the left one at the front of the brow. That's okay though because I know that some of my skin has rejected some of the pigment. I got my lips blushed a little over a year ago. I had a good experience with Karyl. She is very personable and helped me choose the right color for my skintone. She made the whole process easy. She gets booked up quickly. It was a few months between when I booked and my appointment. She raised her prices during that time and charged me the original price, not a higher price as another review said. Only downside is she does charge for touch ups. The touch up price is a bit high considering the cost already paid for lips or brows. The artist who did my brows (who also does Karyls brows) gives a free touch up. I don't know about this person complaining about their experience with Karyl. I'm not gonna lie, the very first session that I had with her was very nerve wracking. I didn't hesitated texting her after about my complaint of how dark and how uncomfortable I was right after I got them done because duhh? It was my first time and I was not used to looking at my filipino brows filled with tattoos. I felt so bad, but I literally took her word, she told me that right after you get them done, they'll be numb and swollen and she's freaking right! She's fucking adorable and so I waited 2 days to let it cool down and I then saw the beauty that she gave me if you're a filipino like me and wasn't blessed with them nice brows, you'll know what I'm talking about!! The last thing you wanna do is pick the scabs. It's a common sense to let it peel itself and let it heal alone without touching and getting it wet on those healing weeks. If you just followed her after care instructions, you'll definitely not gonna have any problem at all. My skin is oily and I did not have any problem with the pigments. I love it, really love it!!! I can't wait for the third retouch just because I like the dark look and crispy look I definitely recommend Karyl for your brows. My in-laws loves them, my man loves them (he used to hate my thin brows, I did too), and I LOVE THEM. On 2/22/21 I booked a touch up appointment in which it was scheduled for 5/26/21. I received an email confirming my appointment and attached provide the price. I payed $50 to hold the appointment and my remaining balance was $200. Sometime before my appointment Boundless Beauty increased there prices. I'm super sad that I have to write this review about Karyl but I have to share my experience. I got my brows done by her on January 3rd. Mind you I have been SUPER nervous to finally get my brows permanently done. Since I knew her, I trusted her. The first day I loved them, by January 11th the corners started to peel, Karyl assured me it was normal so I didn't panic. By January 14th half of the right brow has completely peeled off leaving no color retention. I had texted Karyl asking if I could come in to have her fix it, she told me it's Normal. I'm supposed to peel but the new color should resurface. January 20th I finally washed my brows because I couldn't stand the itch anymore. She made sure to reiterate not to get the brows wet during the healing stages and to only apply a small amount of ointment if it was super itchy. January 25th I sent Karyl pictures of my bare brows with absolutely no make up on letting her know there's still no color on them. I got no response until I told her I am going to a different artist to have my brows fixed. Instead of trying to fix the problem she made me feel like I was the problem. Told me I seemed to have a hard time following the aftercare which was not true. I followed it to a tee except I did apply a tiny amount of make uP on one of my brows after 15 days cause It was completely faded. I paid Karyl a lot of money and trust and for me to have to spend more money on a different artist to correct her mistake is really disappointing. read more

I wont recommend this place. How yould you feel if after paying $500 your brows look like this. This is after peeling was finished(one month to be exact and i followed all instructions). They expermiented on my tint on my brows(she was talking to her colleague at that time and i overheard it that she is trying on a new tint). You don't do this on a full paying customer but you can of course on your students and trial clients. I was super hesitant to write this review because Carol is so nice but my self confidence in my brows is worse than it was when I got them done weeks ago. I had reached out to see if anything could have been done but I received no response. I actually joined Yelp to write this review just so people are aware they may not get what they pay for. Id ask for sure if you can see before and after photos but the after photos be months later to show her talent. I got my brows done and weeks later one side had an arch extremely higher than the rest. It also seemed like when she was doing them the top of my brow was shaved off. The fade occured only a couple weeks later and i know that can happen for numerous reasons but only weeks later?! Im so dissapointed and now I'm having to go to California to get them professionally fixed by a referral where i've personally seen the work almost a year later and amazing. Dont get me wrong it seems very clean and organized in her place so I think things are good there but maybe the talent isnt what it seems. I went from filling in my eyebrows (if/when I had time) to waking up to perfect eyebrows thanks to Karyl! I am a mother of 2 amazing children, but never had enough time to make myself look halfway decent. And now everyday I don't have to worry about making myself look presentable for work or simply running errands. Eyebrows done, lashes done, and I'm out the door! The service was great, but I think the girls need more training. I was absolutely unhappy with my right eyebrow. For both sides I kept saying multiple times I'm not a fan of thick eye brows and I want it thinner but she didn't do much till her teacher came and fixed my left eyebrow. She did a good job on my left but completely horrible on my right. I literally cried outside the salon for 15 minutes wanting to commit suicide because I'm already very insecure about my eyebrows. Luckily my sister talked me down in saying just just concealer for now. Hopefully they heal away quicker than 2 yrs. if I don't do touch ups. My right eyebrow is not even a straight line on the arch, it's pretty crooked and the brow arch is a bit thicker and higher than my left. I was told my left was the higher side but I told them if the need to remover hair to make them match better I'm fine with that. Overall nice people just sadly disappointed in my right eyebrow. I don't see how you could let someone walk out of a salon who's outline isn't even straight in the inside.... I had some girl named Tati. I love my eyebrows because what they looked like before and what that look like now is a complete 360. So I'm grateful for her on that end. BUT she told me for a touch up it was $50 but I guess since than her prices have went up so now it's $80? I figure because you already told me 1 price before you should stick by that price. I even told her now that there healed I don't really like them and she didn't really seem to care, it was more like well you can pay the $80 or just deal with it. Kinda strange. Karyl is super sweet but I'm not happy about my brows. I can draw my brows on great but just wanted to wake Up with perfect brows every day so I tried the ombre shading. She did spend a good time drawing them but so kept having to tell her to make them thicker which she didn't. Went back a few times cause she couldn't figure out what pigment my skin would take. Went in twice, still not much pigment showing. Third time tried a different one yet again she wouldn't do much thicker and not much pigment showing, this is after trying the new one. She told me to come back and she wouldn't charge me as much, so I did but got charged the normal amount. Came back again because they weren't getting as dark, she tried a darker pigment the fourth time which she told me she wasn't gonna charge me and yet once again did. So by now I've almost paid $900 still very light brows and the shape is not even good. Would have been better off not even going to her for mediocre work for that price. I went to Karyl for my eyebrow microblading due to good reviews on Yelp. I had to go back and get a "touch up" which she said was included in her services. She had to completely redo the brows as the color didn't stay the first time. She then informed me if I wanted another touch up, I would need to pay for it. I was a little taken back by that as I felt it should have been included. I have been texting and calling her to get that touch up done (which is desperately needed and would be willing to pay for so they are even) and she will not return my texts or calls. It is not very professional not to respond to me. At this point, I would not recommend Karyl. :-( read more

Worst experience! I set up an appointment for my mom who has been insecure about her eyebrows ever since. As a birthday gift, I decided to gift her with a micro shading procedure. The initial process was good, it was the after care and touch up scheduling that made it the WORST EXPERIENCE! We had already tried to set up a touch up appointment at the initial procedure (as my mom is only off on Mondays & Tuesdays) and were told by Karyl to not even set up an appointment until her 4 week mark (9/4). I messaged her the last week of August since she was already fully booked for September and close to being fully booked for October. When she finally reached back to me, the October date we wanted was fully booked, the next date that my mom could make was not until 11/6 in which Karyl then proceeded to tell me that if I did not book my mom by that first week of November then she would have to charge full price. I was very upset as I did my part in trying to schedule my mom for when works best for her schedule and to have Karyl say that sent me off. I then told her that as a SUGGESTION, "Going forward, I recommend that you set aside a date for your returning clients since your schedule gets booked fairly quickly so they don't come across that same scheduling issue my mom did." She then proceeds to send me long responses stating that I am condescending and that she no longer feels comfortable doing the touch up on my mom's eyebrows. She also states that it is "not (her) responsibility to work around (our) schedule when its a service (we're) wanting to have done." This just goes to show her lack of customer service and courtesy. Now my mom is left with half done brows. But in the end, I'd rather pay full price elsewhere with someone who wants our business versus someone who takes our business for granted. I would not recommend her to anyone else I know. read more

I've had deep scars and tears through the process of getting my eyebrows done from a microblade experience couple years ago and disliked my eyebrows until Karyl fixed them. I've had compliments with my ombré and the best part is they're extremely low maintenance. I'm very pleased with my brows. Getting ready in the morning takes me 5 minutes tops. I like low maintenance plus I'm not all that great at applying makeup. However, I'm big on accentuating my eyes from glasses, lashes to eyebrows. I like simple elegant. It was a night and day experience and totally no tears. Karyl has light hands, attention to details and took the time to ensure she meets my requirements from color, shape, and overall look while softening/reducing the appearance of my pre-existing microblade scars. She checked on me a day after and then couple more days later to ensure any concerns are addressed and I didn't have any. I had a take home info on how to care for my brows.
