Love this place. Rented a dolly - saved us! So helpful. Don't have space for a dolly and won't use…read morebut once every 10 years so rental is perfect. We only needed it for the afternoon. Very cheap. They rent so many things! I will definitely be back. Very convenient. They are so nice there!!

I rented a trailer this morning from Rental Stop, a company I have used many times over the years…read more When I picked up the trailer, I noticed that three tires looked good, but one looked bald. I asked the guy loading my trailer if it was safe to drive, and he assured me it was. I drove to my pickup location to get asphalt, and as I was driving, within one mile, the bald tire on the trailer blew out. The trailer swung to the left of my vehicle, cracking my rim and almost flipping me over. Thankfully, I didn't roll over, but I had to get my truck towed due to the damage to the rim. The owner of Rental Stop lied and said the towing company told them they had to tow it to their facility, even though I had asked them to tow it to my home so I could get my material. When I spoke to the owner, she essentially blamed me, saying it was my fault because I could have refused to take the trailer. The best she offered was to charge me $130 to drop off my materials. They had repaired the blown tire, but I questioned why I should pay for towing my materials when I had paid for 24 hours of rental on the trailer. I pleaded with her to do the right thing, explaining that I had been a customer for years and they knew the tire wasn't safe. All I asked for was my material. The owner said she would be willing to dump it on the property, and I could come shovel it onto my truck. I'm absolutely disgusted and disappointed. I would never treat someone like this. I'm leaving this review to alert others that this company is not about customer service. They take no responsibility and don't care about the safety of their customers. Everything was about "we will take care of ours; you take care of yours." Completely unprofessional.

If you're no longer allowed to peer at my erotic photos on Yelp, then are you peerless?…read more Great company, reputable, no issue with their products and the pricing is pretty decent. However. Pretty dangerous driving on the highway, risking a lot of people's lives and driving the way you would in a sports car, except in a semi with a business name on the side. Probably not advisable because it gives the company a bad name. Must train the drivers to be more cautious and protect life instead of risking it.

Peerless was contracted to provide a tent with heating and lighting for our ceremony on Dec 8th…read more Our coordinator had worked with them before and recommended them due to the last-minute booking (the weather wasn't looking good for our outdoor ceremony, so we pulled the trigger the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding. Jennifer, the main sales person, was easy to work with and sent a team out to our venue (The Filter Building) during the week to make sure that the tent would work. She confirmed that everything looked good and that there was plenty of power to support the heaters/lighting. Fast forward to the day of the wedding. First, the set-up crew didn't know what time to set up, despite it being in the notes. When they got there, they didn't know where the tent was supposed to be - again, despite it being in the notes we reviewed with Jennifer. Once the tent was set up, they realized the heater was broken. We didn't get another one until 3pm (wedding was at 4pm and the Peerless team told us that the heaters had to be on for at least 2 hours for the tent to be heated at all). They were told by maintenance to use the various plugs on the back wall (i.e. not to plug everything into one outlet). However, that's exactly what they did, and when the heater was plugged in, it popped the breaker. Then, the Peerless set-up team left, saying it wasn't their issue. Due to timing, we had to move forward with the ceremony. The tent was cold and the lights kept going off (one of the coordinator's team members was upstairs with the breaker to flip it every time it kicked off). After we finished and went upstairs for our private moment, we both looked at each other and said, "What a shit show." The tent was also supposed to be used for the cocktail hour, which didn't happen because it was cold and dark. Once the ceremony was done, my coordinator and the maintenance man started to look into the set-up and realized that the Peerless team had plugged all the heaters and lighting into one extension cord that went to one outlet. I'm no electrician, but I do know that when you overload a circuit, you will pop the breaker. Once they saw this and replugged stuff in using the other available outlets on the back patio, the heather and lighting worked great and the breaker didn't pop. Unfortunately, this was 2 hours into the evening, so no one used the tent anyway. When we were having issues, we couldn't get a hold of Peerless, despite them having an emergency line. When they finally called back, they offered to bring out a generator (that we would be charged for) but couldn't get it out there until 7 or so (again, ceremony was at 4). Then, when we tried to contact the company after the fact to discus what happened and get a refund, it took weeks to get a call back. We finally got connected with the owner, Matt Cosby, who essentially said that they weren't responsible for the set-up. I'm sure if the tent had blown away due to faulty set-up, they wouldn't have been responsible for that either. We requested half of our $4K back. He accused us of trying to take advantage of him - an interesting approach to customer service. After much haggling, we finally agreed to a refund of $1.3K, which was given begrudgingly. Our coordinator told them that they have lost her business, and I have advised my friends who are getting married to steer clear. If you are lucky enough to have everything go right, I'm sure you will have a great experience. But know that they have inexperienced team members who don't know how to do a proper set-up, and if that goes awry, they will take no responsibility. For your wedding or any other event, it's worth it to go somewhere else.

I have had mixed feelings about this place. We recently rented a ditch "witch" from The Rental…read moreStop and had some issues but they were willing to make it right. We picked the equipment up at opening and drove out to our land about 45 minutes away. We got going and the equipment worked great, although much slower than I expected. Once we got almost done is when we started experiencing problems with the hydraulics and so it was slightly frustrating. Of course I tried to be the helpful wife and give the husband a break from "ditch witching" and it dies with the digger thing inside the ground. He is pissed and throwing all kinds of obsceneties around and throwing things around....well about 45 minutes later we get off the phone with the staff here at Rental Stop and they were going to send someone out to see what was wrong and I dont know, bring another machine.....but they called back and apparently there is a sensor that is very sensitive. So they talked the husband through how to start it up again and he got it going without them coming out to us. Of course once one thing starts going wrong everything starts going wrong, and then the machine stopped backing up and we were basically sitting still.....Luckily we rented the machine for two days and finished our project. The first experience we had at this location was not ideal because the staff werent on the same page and my husband was qouted different times that things could be returned without further charges.

When I picked it up, the "professional " bingo balls were handwritten with marker and the master board was tiny and would only hold balls the size of marbles so the balls were all rolling off on to the floor. We had to run out to buy 6 dozen eggs so we could use egg crates in place of the tiny master board. They literally could have ruined our entire event and cost us money. Sadly, upon return, no refund was given to compensate us
