We actually ended up missing one member of the family and were told that if he can stop by they will do his picture and Photoshop him in! Online access to our pictures after the session is easy and mostly painless. The prices are a little high in my opinion for some of the portraits, but fortunately we were given the proofs if we wanted to get copies made elsewhere. They had a nice preparation room with a mirror and some hangers for your coats. I would recommend this place for a large group picture.

Even on nights where my team doesn't score well we still enjoy ourselves. Both of these guys are clever, fun, and put together a great show every week. Savants of Question has recently expanded to a weekly Wednesday night trivia at Ummie's in Mankato. They also organize 'Feasts of Fun' every few months which combine food, drinks, comedy, music, and entertainment; we attended their Christmas Feast of Fun and enjoyed music from the Bass Brand Brass Band, comedy from both Tom and Ben, mixed up tales by Zilch the Torysteller, and professional pole dancers. It was a memorable night. Savants of Question are available for private gigs and we are very much looking forward to them emceeing, entertaining, and running trivia at our friends' wedding reception later this year. Ben and Tom are genuinely nice guys, you should definitely contact them if you need to bring some fun to your event.

After this experience this will be my last time staying at the Madelia Hotel. So I was coming up this past week to get together with friends and had an extremely bad experience at the Madelia Hotel. From the front door being locked when I arrived to check-in, to no lock in the side security door at all, to the filthy tub in the bathroom and the icing on the cake...discovered bugs in the bed on my last night. I stayed two nights and the last night I was there I slept in a chair. . Also note that they attempted to charge $30/night more for their ADA accessible room during the booking process. I filed a complaint with the health department on the issues noted here. If you experience issues call the Madelia Fire Chief. Do not stay here.
