We are staying in Ocean City for the week and upon check-in we stopped by for some wine, beer, and liquor. The selection is great and it's a major convenience being right off the island as OC is a dry town. However, the prices are outrageous. Super disappointed , for being a liquor store right next to a tourist destination you'd think they'd be more versatile in looking at ID's from all over. My friend and I JUST moved out here from different states and they refused her ID and wouldn't let me purchase for coming in with her. How can you call yourself Super Liquors and not carry Pabst Pounders or as others call them Tall Boys? The place is huge and the selection is immense bit again how can you not carry Pabst Pounders. Hell Walmart carries them and they are not Super Liquors. Last stop before a dry island you need to carry everything including Pabst Pounders. You may be seeing a theme to this post, the unacceptably of not carrying Pabst Blue Ribbons beer in a 16 ounce can. What would Dennis Hopper think? Imagine this, ya cousin Enzo from Kearny calls yous up to tell yous about his friends son Antonio's christening, Hes tells yas to pick up the hot sausage, peppas and onions, galamad, and mutzadel from A n S, last thing you want to do is watch this kid get dipped in some wata from the Hudson, and ya landlord just being relentless about the odor of garlic from yous livinroom. A had no other option I had to start up the 87 Lincoln and book over to a liquor store to forget about alls these problems. I took my buddy Nino from Bayonne to come with me (he's 20). So we's get there and eyes decided to grab a bottle of moscato (vintage) and my otha wise guy Nino grabbed a 4 loko for the road. The selection wasn't great it was basically PIMs, natty light , and hams for the beer selection. And unless yous had 8 Rebecca's Comin back ova to Kearny there was some cotton candy svedka and raspberry white claws. Mario's crew would've had me workin the landfill all of August if I showed up to the christening with cotton candy svedka. So because of the limited options we stuck with the Moscato and one loko. Buddy, let me tell yous, I thought we's got transported back to Ellis island immigration customs just to get this damn moscato and a loko. This wise gal lookin like billy gene king could not fulfill our order because nino was 20...like buddy yous the one to be talkin, yous probably the same one who called DIFUS on Antonio's brudas in the polo club for playin wiffle ball with a salami stick. Disappointed in this place. I could not purchase beer because my license is a duplicate. However, I have purchased beer from here for the past few months with the same Id!!! I understand there are fakes out there etc, Etc. The id is mine, I lost my id. So now the liquor stores are DMV?? Your not allowed to be human and lose something? Get something stolen?? If its not valid to purchase alcohol why does DMV issue it? If DMV does not do their job and issues someone (not me) a duplicate ID, how is that the liquor stores issue??? I have my own beliefs of why my id was rejected, other than it being a duplicate. My id is me.. hair is the same I cant even say..Ehhh I look different. Ridiculous. Came through here last night with my 22 y/o girlfriend to grab two bottles of wine for dinner. At check out the cash register asked for both of our IDs of which I only had mine. She didn't bring her purse with her because obviously I was buying and didn't think it would be an issue. Well it was... The woman at the register wouldn't sell me the two bottles of wine even though I had my valid ID because she didn't have hers and entered the store with me. We pled that I should be able to buy it and it doesn't matter that she doesn't have ID because I do and I am paying for it, but that wasn't enough, the cash register insisted that there are cameras that saw us enter the store together and that she needs a valid ID as well....absolutely ridiculous! So by this logic, no parent or older sibling can ever come into this store and buy themselves alcohol while accompanied by someone under 21?!? Makes zero sense. Total inconvenience and she made us drive back into Ocean City to get her ID and we came back and they allowed us to buy the wine. Talk about a power trip!! Congratulations you've lost a good customer and I'll let all my friends know to stop at circle (where it's cheaper anyways) on the way in and not this place anymore!! read more

Came here to grab some Lokos for the cousins coming down from Kearny but was left disappointed to find out that they aren't refrigerated! Be prepared to sell a kidney or two when you get to the check out line...I'd rather spend my money on some bungalow bowls or rolled ice cream up on the boardwalk! Also be prepared for a full blown TSA security check of your ID when checking out, if I ever go back (and I sure as hell am no) I am bringing my passport and maybe they can read that a little bit better read more

Have been a local for decades. Bought wine. They didnt bag it or give a receipt. There was a cashier and a bagger who did nothing. When returning in a couple minutes with the top of a broken bottle they said oh well your problem. Circle and Yesterday's respect locals who support them through the winter. Imagine walking into a liquor store and both you and friend are of legal age. You have an ID but she doesn't cause she's not paying. And then the cashier tells you that BOTH of you need to have ID for you to buy you stuff. A "store policy" that I have never heard of is completely rediculous. I really could have just gone in by myself but since I brought a friend I can't buy liquor. PLENTY of other, better stores in the area that don't adopt this crazy policy, you better go there. My fiancé and I have been coming here for months. The prices are high for what you get but the convenience to Ocean City is usually worth it. We were never carded once over the past 3 months. Tonight we came in to get a nice bottle of wine after a terrible week of work. The clerk asked for my ID (which is fine as I was paying for the wine and had brought my ID in case anyone did ask for it) but refused to serve me because fiancé didn't also have his ID. As I mentioned we had been coming here for months without issue and had never shown our IDs before so obviously we very surprised when she asked for both (my fiancé is over 30). We have also had this clerk multiple times (so way to know your customers). In addition, the clerk was very rude about the entire situation and refused to let my fiancé run back to the house to get his ID because the store was closing. Anyway Circle K is 8 minutes down the street and I had much more pleasant experience there. read more

Would not allow me to purchase alcohol with a duplicate license. Told me I needed an old license or a passport. Didn't care that I had my debit cards, and other forms of ID. Last time I checked people don't walk around with expired licenses or passports to support their valid legal duplicate license. The manager was rude and took the products off of the check out counter as if I was going to run out of the store with them. Not to mention the employee at check out nearly bent my license in half trying to prove that it was fake. read more

Pricey but very convenient for us drinkers who vacation in a dry town! They have everything you need: wine, beer, and harder stuff. They have a really good selection of beer and ciders. The only thing that stinks is getting back out of the parking lot! People fly down the street and tend not to let you in. My suggestion is to not go at peak traffic hours like Saturdays in season. Ocean City is a dry island but you can find relief over both bridges that give access to and from the island (9th street and 34th street). Boulevard Super Liquors is located over the 34th street bridge and is an absolute essential stop if you didn't pack any booze. Appropriately named this place is indeed SUPER, they have a huge variety of beer, wines, and spirits that will quench your thirst for the each variation of the devils water.
