Its in New Prague that is 30 minutes south of Burnsville, so its not terribly too far. There is a lot of variety on the holes here, mixing an even amount of part 3, 4 and 5's. Every hole has character and can be challenging if you don't know how to play it right. Nice clubhouse that has a good size bar and plenty of space for banquets or a small wedding. Because of the isolated location they have great specials during the week.

And hole number 18 has an actual yellow submarine. The Beatles obsessed owner is a super guy. The course itself is in great shape and they are putting more work into it. It's a fun course, not too tough, with plenty of wide fairways. The current clubhouse is pretty modest. They are building a huge new log pole clubhouse/ event center which is under construction now. If you play, this is a great outing.

Only downside to the course was the wind and lack of trees. In my own opinion the rock and roll theme is a bit, eccentric especially in combination with a giant log cabin club house. Here's what I failed to understand, the price. We went on a spring day, real feel was 17 degrees. Walked. I'm grateful he kept the course open, but I don't get the 40+ dollar price tag on a round most places would have discounted or given a rain check. I'm very thankful we walked because 60+ dollars for the round would have been ludicrous. The only thing that really made that worthwhile was that so few people were there for the first 9. I can't say I'll be back to play with that price point. There's plenty of nicer courses I'd rather be at for that.

There have been a lot of confrontations and there are few Marshalls encouraging slow groups to speed up. Greens are smooth but very wavy and the pin placements are deliberately difficult.

The greens rolled true. There is definitely water and sand challenges beyond the length. I never found myself in the sand but did find the water on the long par 3s where you had to fly the water to reach the green. Carts had GPS. There were also beverage carts along the course. They have a really nice turn to get food and beverages if you choose. Your green fee includes a small range ball basket. They also have chipping and putting greens for practice. Someone greeted us at the bag drop and loaded up a cart for us. Very nice staff and loved the course.

Since neither of our meals came with garlic bread or anything we shared the Sliced Italian bread from appetizer menu and it filled the void for $6.00. We finished with the gluten free chocolate cake that was delicious and moist. Would have given them another star had our food been served hot, we did not complain but wished I had, atmosphere and service was great, my granddaughter loved playing a few of the free arcade games off the entry.
