I called about making an appointment and they let me know that if I was going to have a color service I did need to come in 48 hours in advance to have a patch test done all my skin before any color product can be used on me. It took 15 minutes once I was there to get this done and I went about making my appointment. Angela was my stylist and she was fantastic. I got a color cut in a deep conditioning treatment along with a fantastic blowout. The color was $25. Haircut was 16 and the conditioning treatment was $10. Angela grabbed her teacher at the beginning of my service and throughout my service to do check-in's. She really took a lot of time to make sure everything was done correctly. I love the Blow Out that she gave me and the conditioning treatment was fantastic. I paid a quarter of what I would've paid in a regular salon and I will definitely be back. When I arrived on a Friday, they were just finishing up a wedding parties up dos and they looked amazing. They do have regular hours Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, but they are closed on Sundays. You do need to make an appointment and again you need to go in 48 hours before for the skin patch test for color.

I'm so sad. I've had 6 cuts here in the past 2 years. 4 of them were great and one of them was okay…read moreexcept the teachers never came to check me after and I noticed the cut was a bit off. However, this time I went was so horrible. The stylist was timid, and you could tell she was unprepared. She took 25 minutes to wash my hair and it took 45 minutes before she even began cutting. When she was "done" with the initial cut and went to get the teacher the one side was an inch and a half longer than the other. The teacher almost said I was good to go until I said something, and she then fixed it. However, my hair was now 2 inches shorter than originally planned. After that she went to frame my face. The one side was okay because the teacher guided her but the other side, she did a straight blunt cut of my hair from ear to face of another 2 inches. There was no framing just 2 inches gone from a part of my hair. Again, the teacher was going to leave but I mentioned the one side and she tried to fix it but couldn't/didn't. I now have a bad haircut without anything I can do but either cut it shorter or wait for it to grow, and cutting my whole hair means cutting another 2 inches (I asked for 1.5/2 inches total and that would have resulted in 6 inches off). This was also 2 hours, and I didn't even get my hair blow dried yet. This student should not have been allowed to work on humans yet. It was obvious she was not confident to work on my hair and obvious she didn't have the skills to work on a real person. I'm upset the school even let her work on my hair and that a teacher didn't take over as soon as they realized the cut was uneven from the beginning.
