Boucle and Papier is a small little stationery shop that offers greeting cards, stickers, desktop accessories, stationery, and other little gifts. The place is small and adorable, as I found some Montreal-designed and -made items, such as stickers and some greeting cards. I did wish, however, that there were more local handmade/specialty items for sale, as similar cards can be found back in the States. I saw this cute little place while in an Uber, and had to make a mental note to make a visit before leaving Montreal. I am a fan of Meri Meri (that brand that has a huge line of party/home products) and this place carries quite a lot of them. That day I was in search of some cute Montreal postcards and I found some which made me really happy! The clerk there let you browse around and wasn't pushy at all. She even gave me some tips from counting Canadian coins which I truly appreciated her time (so that I could finally stop breaking my $20 bills, lol) and she also showed me a website that Canadians use to find places to eat, hang out , etc. Yup, they don't really Yelp there, they use Tastet.ca. Even though I can't read French, I could still see pictures and location :D I also noticed that there are a mixed of American, Canadian and French brands so make sure you read the back of each item ;) I really love a lot of Montreal limited edition cards and prints. The wrapping papers are really nice also. I wish we lived in Montreal so I could shop here more often. Besides, this place is located in Mile End which is considered a really nice and artsy neighborhood. What's not to like? ;) read more

Tiny cute spot! If you love stationary there is some sweet stuff to be discovered here and there are more Montreal designers featured now then when they first launched (though would love to see even more!!) They sell lovely little bouquets of flowers on the weekend (not always) and host the occasional tiny workshop, and if you want a thoughtful gift or decor item or something dreamy for a pinteresty wedding then visiting this sweet shop should definitely be on your todo list. read more

Cute little shop. Lots of rifle paper co., Kate spade, etc. I hope they get some more rare or handmade/local paper items.
