My kids thrived here and were truly cared for in every way. My son left this school not only potty trained, but also independent, confident, and full of grace and courtesy. Both of my children now greet others with a warm "good morning" or "hello," something that has carried over beautifully into their new school. I've even been told multiple times that they are model students, and I know without a doubt it's because of the love, hard work, and dedication poured into them here. My daughter also left this school reading and writing with confidence, speaking in such a mature and thoughtful way for her age. The foundation she received here continues to shine through in her new environment. As Montessori says, education is a partnership between teacher, parent, and child and this school lived that truth every single day. I could not have done it alone, and I'll forever be thankful for the foundation they gave my children.

Well, as…read morefor me, I've had my daughter at the Montessori Garden since she was barely 18 months old. She has grown now and is almost ready to graduate from Ms. Belkis's class next year. First, let me start with the cleanliness of this school, which is very important to me. The care and love they have for the children are evident, and I'm not just speaking for my own. Even though I know she's the favorite... shhh, let me not say that out loud. lol. The routine and lessons have taught my daughter discipline, independence, and manners. She is in the Spanish-only class, which I feel is very important. She counts 1-15 in Spanish, knows all her basic colors, animals, and much more. She sings, dances, and is pretty much as happy as can be every single day. She loves her friends and visits the ones that have moved on to the bigger class. This is the best investment anyone can make for their kids. I love Ms. D, Ms. Belkis, Ms. Mayleni, and Ms. Isabel, and I also appreciate the other teachers as well. Love,

I was skeptical at first after being disappointed by a few tours as well as overwhelmed, however, the moment my husband and I walked inside, we both immediately glanced at each other amazed by how wonderfully welcoming it was. My initial amazement was its cleanliness and it smelled so wonderful! As a first time parent, this school met all of our needs. We enrolled our daughter at 19 months old and she adjusted within 3 days, with barely a tear! She now runs to the door and doesn't even look back. Ms. Emily is the director and the first person we met during the tour. She has the kindest eyes! She was welcoming and very thorough. She has done an incredible job and should be proud. My daughters teachers are Ms. Lili And Ms. Marta. Both of these wonderful and patient ladies greet us everyday with a huge smile eager to see our girl! It's so much appreciated!! I've had brief interactions with other teachers between picking up and dropping off and Ms Milly is a doll!! I recently met Ms Maria who seems just as sweet as the rest of the team. Despite COVID restrictions, such as social distancing amongst parents and not being able to attend typical holiday gatherings, you still get the family environment! I've encountered few parents and everyone is kind and patient with one another! I look forward to watching our girl grow and thrive! Thank you to all the wonderful teachers!!

They are nurturing, vigilant, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every child. Many teachers have been at KLA for years, and because they clearly enjoy being part of this community, they are able to build lasting bonds with children--even when they are no longer in the same classroom. This creates a uniquely special atmosphere for families. The approach to learning is thoughtful and intentional at every stage of development. Children are supported in reaching their milestones through meaningful experiences, social-emotional practices, and engaging class activities. The curriculum is comprehensive and balanced--covering academics (numbers, shapes, language), art (with a dedicated atelierista), physical education, and an impressive range of enrichment programs like dance, Spanish, soccer, and martial arts. KLA is also a wonderfully inclusive community, bringing together families from all around the world. It is not unusual to hear four or five languages spoken within a single class, always in a spirit of benevolence and respect, where everyone feels welcome. Another thing that stands out is the attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement. Everything feels carefully considered, and it is clear the leadership values feedback, making thoughtful changes while also supporting teachers in their own professional growth. If you are looking for a place that fosters independence from a young age and prepares children to transition smoothly and confidently into school, there is no better choice than KLA Schools of Coral Gables.

The feeling I got today when dropping off my daughter, and her actually being okay with me leaving is beyond words. The teachers are AMAZING, warm and loving! They gave me updates throughout the day of Sam's activities and progress. The school is cozy, clean, organized and so beautifully decorated, it even smells nice! When it came time to pick her up I was so excited and of course expected to find a happy toddler. The pick up experience didn't just meet my expectations... Sam was happy, excited to show me her new school! She gave her teacher a kiss and when getting in the car said "Mami yo quiero venir mañana a mi escuelita" - I am not usually the kind of person to write reviews, good or bad... but I am so thankful today that it's only right I shared my experience and gave an insight to other parents looking for a good school for their kids. Thank you Montessori Smart Learning Academy! I look forward to watching my baby girl grow surrounded by her new friends and teachers.

Yes, the small hands on approach is definitely good for children with disabilities/developmental issues, however if you take a child without these difficulties and then put them into a regular school (public schools) your kids gonna have a lot of problems. The schools probably changed since my time attending, sure, however while I was there, it was even unsafe for kids with issues. An example of this would be with my cousin who also attended at the same time as me, who was autistic and low support needs. He was a victim of bullying, which got the a point where a student broke his arm. As for me, I didn't have these sorts of issues (I have ADHD but that's never effected my learning so I don't count it) and after I left The Biltmore, I was introduced to many different learning tools such as iready, IXL, ect. However, The Biltmore never taught me how to use these programs, and the larger classes of public schools meant that my teachers rarely offered me help with using these programs, leaving me to teach myself which made me struggle at the beginning of my education in public schools. To any parents thinking of sending your children here; DO NOT. DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!! As a former student, I'm begging you not to send your kids here, it was genuinely one of the worst experiences of my life.
