The owner has a passion for tea and you truly come to understand that trying her teas as well as talking to her. She also has a passion as an epicure. While I was there, I wanted to order one of her poke bowls. She insisted that I order the poke bowl du jour which had the typical poke ingredients. But on that particular day, it also had marinated raw steak. I was afraid to try it but she insisted so I did, and you know what?? I really liked it! It turns out she owns a gourmet restaurant, Cocottes et Bouchons, where she serves traditional French cuisine typical of Lyonnaise cuisine. Go there for dinner for it is a treat you should not miss. It was served with complimentary chocolate by Alain Ducasse (one of my favorite chocolatiers EVER). The two baristas were exceptional- friendly and super helpful. They explained the differences between each of the drinks and even allowed me to sample a couple. The coffee is more expensive than most coffee shops but the superior quality justifies the higher prices. This is my new favorite coffee shop in Paris!
