The food here was great! Didn't taste like canned sauces!, which can be rare in the middle pets of Canada! The bar is opened late, but not too late! The staff were super duper friendlier than other places I went in this town. They were very efficient and polite! The place is family oriented upstairs and a pub downstairs! OKAY.....first the menu is huge!!!! If you don't know what you want you will spend time looking at every page ......there are soooooo many wonderful choices !! The selection is very large from Pizza, Burgers, Steak, Salads, Pasta, Tacos.......yada, yada, yada !! That's the predicament I found myself in....pizza...na too big, pasta...hmm too heavy....sounds good but not tonight....a sandwich will do the trick. Ordered Montreal Smoked meat on toasted rye with fries and a side of thousand island salad dressing. Actually before placing the order I confirmed they had the dressing. It puzzled the server because I didn't order salad and I knew right away she didn't know what a Ruben was. Does that age me ?? Anyhoooo.... So as I write this I'm wondered if the server who didn't write anything down will get this straight. We will see Also ordered a nice cold Stella......ah.... Yes with a glass.....now sit back, relax and write the review. The restaurant itself is very large, guessing seating well over a hundred plus the patio....and it was busy tonight for sure with lots of family's and a few date nights. The music is too low so you faintly hearts a turn under lots of people talking, the noise of plates and cutlery and servers talking. The big screens all have sports - really would it hurt to turn on CNN once in a while ? Can't go wrong with Boston Pizza - Jim did a great job and every time I come to any Boston Pizza there are always new things on the menu and he's great at making sure weather the restaurant is in Williams Lake, Victoria, Fredricton or Oakville the kitchen produces each dish the way it should be. Sounds simple, but it's not and that you have to admire a well run company. Good food at a fair price....job well done Boston Pizza.....thank -you So - one beer down and still don't have my order and not even a heads up on how long it will be. She sees my glass is empty and walked by 4 times now. A little disappointing. Seriously the best food I've ever had. Absolute perfection. I've eaten at many Boston pizza locations and received delivery from many as well and this was by far the most outstanding. This place was good when it opened. It is under a different manager now as it is consistently not worth the money. Terrible service, kenty and inept waitresses (a winning combo every time), the food is alright, but the cooks that have a literal inability to follow the most basic of requests. You can spot the manager from a mile away from how he swaggers around like the world should be blowing him for the pleasure of dining in his majestic presence. What a douchebag! Oh, but the dishes were consistently clean, I give their dishwasher more points than the rest of the staff combined. Gave them a 2nd shot after a good many months. I totally disagree with the review of Boston Pizza in Williams Lake. I have eaten there on two occasions separated by two years. Not only is the food good, it is varied so that almost any taste is accommodated. The menu is innovative compared to most family restaurants. Entrees cost in the $10 to $16 range; salads go for $8 and up. Not McDonalds prices, but not such a limited menu either. I found the service good on both visits, but as a popular local spot, it does get busy. I should add that my first visit was during the Williams Lake Stampede when the restaurant is at its busiest - service was not a problem. read more

Have just been in for the pizza special deal, good service as usual. We usually come once a week on different days at lunch time. The waitress we have is very nice and helpful and will accommodate any changes to the menu if possible. Drinks arrived promptly and food the same. Enjoyable meal! Reasonably priced. read more
