One of the best beaches in France, and it hosts a wonderful restaurant called Chez Regis after the owner and his American wife and French chef son, Morgan. We ate here several times and did not have anything that was not extraordinary. When we visited in 2000, it was the last stop after Normandy, Paris, and Avignon, and we all agreed then that they served the best food we had in France. The mussels are the best I have ever had, and we were served a beautiful dessert of nougat ice cream with steeped pears that was out of this world. Salmon, seafood, all is fresh and bought that morning at the market. This is a place not to miss. It has a very nice ambiencve without being too upscale. Very comfortable and pleasant experience all around.
