I can't say I used this business because THEY NEVER SHOW UP. I have been assigned them TWICE…read morethrough Triple A and they never called or showed up, had me out here waiting for two hours. And both times when Triple A got in touch with them, they told Triple A their truck was broken down. They said this once in August 2020 and today in May 2021. They NEVER responded to me back in August and never answered the phone. I sent them a snarky text this time around and they told me they were having to come in from Atlanta. They're not in Atlanta, they're in Madison. So not only can they not keep a truck in operation, they don't even know where they work. If I'm outside of their service area, then they need to negotiate that with Triple A or cancel the service call so Triple A can get me someone else out here in a timely manner. But they just leave me sitting there. TWICE. I keep reading their responses to these one star reviews and it's the same: "this is not representative of how we do business." Dude! Yes it is! If you try to use First Call, be prepared to make a second call to somewhere else so you can actually get service. Mad I can't rate this zero stars.

Insurance rep also let it slip that there is no accountability system in place for the towing companies other than customers calling to complain. I suspect this company accepts contracts without any plan to complete them, and hopes some customers don't complain so they get free money.

I was involved in an incident with a driver employed by Maurice's Towing. They are not very helpful…read morein helping me get my car fixed. I have contacted this office at least 5 times trying to get their insurance information to file a claim or to verify if they already filed a claim since I was the victim and their driver was the offender. I keep getting the run around, no return phone calls and receptionists who are unprofessional, unhelpful and uneducated when it comes to helping the situation run more smoothly. On one of many calls I was told from one of their receptionist who answered the phone that "they", whoever they are, were told by their insurance company that since their tow truck driver didn't get the ticket that they're not liable. Well making a phone call to an insurance company and only telling a part of the story and neither giving the complete facts nor filing an incident claim to benefit on your end is not telling them the truth. Yet another deflection from responsibility. Whether he received a ticket or not, this is untrue and simply a lie. It clearly states on the police report that I am the victim and he was the offender. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see who's at fault and liable for the damages. The police told me that if any driver driving on the Georgia roads is driving down the road and anything falls off their vehicle whether it's something they are hauling, not secured down in the back of their pickup truck or an engine part that fell off their vehicle while driving and it causes damages to another motor vehicle, YOU ARE LIABLE. It's the law. Point blank period. In my case their tow truck was towing another vehicle and lost a piece of his carburetor, that landed right in the middle lane of 285, while he was driving down the road. I couldn't swerve in time to miss it because I was in the middle lane and there were cars on both sides of me. I had no choice but to hit the object or turn into another car, hit them and cause another car accident. That could have been a very bad situation. Maurice's Towing is totally responsible for my damages to my car and refuse to give me their insurance information to get the damages, which is underneath my car, fixed which are over $4,000. Jaguars sit very low to the ground are very expensive to repair. It's been over a week now and I'm going to give them one more chance to handle this professionally. The insurance information that was given to the police officer was incorrect or I would have just contacted the company myself. I'm sure they do have insurance if they are towing other customers cars around. I just want mine fixed! My next and only option is to file with my own insurance company and we'll both sue this company. I'm sure they don't want to get sued so it would benefit them more if they stepped up. He said a truck will be right out and it was no problem to get the car home to Griffin. The driver was there in under 30 minutes. He was very kind and friendly. He even went a different way to my house to save me about $20 which I greatly appreciate. If we ever need a tow, I will call them first.
