Specialties
My name is Kim Bortot, and I am the licensed psychotherapist for Bortot Counseling Services. I provide attentive, highly personalized mental health therapy for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, life transitions, and any other issues that may be impeding the ability to cope. I specialize in grief, loss, recovery from narcissistic abuse, and healing from family scapegoat abuse. I am completely dedicated to each client I serve. The therapist / client relationship that is formed and developed is maintained with authenticity and utmost value and care. Through active listening, compassionate care, and an eclectic approach to treatment, clients are provided with a safe, supportive, nurturing, and open environment to express their feelings, concerns, and problems. I work collaboratively with clients to explore and identify the root cause problems so healing can begin. In therapy, clients will develop healthy and positive coping strategies while gaining insight and an alternative perspective for personal growth and emotional well-being.
History
Established in 2016.
After deciding to leave the corporate medical industry, Bortot Counseling Services was developed to provide mental health therapy to affect change on an individual level for those impacted by chronic illness, terminal illness, grief, and loss.
Understanding the impact and effect life transitions and stress have on an individual, the practice was expanded to provide life coaching services to help those who struggle to cope explore and develop techniques to improve outlook, attitude, emotional well-being, inner peace and harmony, and quality of life.
Today, Bortot Counseling Services treats clients in Boynton Beach and Wellington who seek to live a happier, more fulfilled life.
