I've been to Copenhagen enough times now to understand the food and drink culture there. But Bornholm? it's in a microcosm of its own. Having tried the food at Kadeau which hails from said island, I got to try both the beer and the juices from the produce there. Bornholms Mosteri makes a great range of juices. Apple, rhubarb (a Danish must!), elderflower, a few other flavors and cider to boot. Having not wanted to drink during lunch since I was traveling shortly thereafter, I opted for the juices during my meal. Super good stuff. For such a tiny island, their food and drink culture packs a wallop. I must make my way to Bornholm soon. read more
