Really nice gift shop with Voyageurs, US and Canada themed items. Very clean, organized and well stocked. Employees were very pleasant. Reasonably priced; consistent with most gift shops. Highly recommend. read more

Border Bob's is a touristy place that offers a lot of different items for everyone. I picked up dry ice for the fish I caught in Canada. The service was nice, but very slow. I wanted to buy some Walleye, but the filets were very small and the price points, I thought were high. This was my first time, so maybe their inventory is better at other times. Wow! This place has EVERYTHING! Very impressed as we walked through and found trinkets for everyone we knew. Let's just say we came home parents of the year. :) It is spacious, but if the little had been with us we would've had to repeat 'hands in pockets!' several times. Ok... No question, this is the absolute best tourist trap in all of the U.S. This place has, wait for it... EVERYTHING!!! If you are traveling to Canada and come through international falls. You must stop here if you want genuine Canada souvenirs. This place feels like Minnesota... This place IS Minnesota! Here is a list of everything they have, Fudge, Icecream, Apparel, mugs, fridge magnets, art, everything souvenir you can think of! Now I will say... If you are looking to buy something for Minnesota, go to ronnings (Which I have reviewed). But if you want Canada, come here. Hence the name border bobs. This place looks like a sort of lodge or retreat log cabin look to it on the interior. The staff here are wonderfully kind and helpful, and they all have northern accents. I bought a cool Canada tee-shirt and a mug. I was highly satisfied with my visit, as I come to international falls every year. This place looks epic on the inside... There are deer, a moose, and walleyes on the wall. The layout is like a maze in a good way... You always find something you didn't see last time every visit. I just had one of the best experiences that a person could have. I needed my fish wrapped and ready to fly the following day. The lady who helped me was by far the best coustmer service i have experienced in years. 5 stars to this place and 10 for her. I forget her name and the recipt says Steve so I assume that is not her name. She works with special needs kids too so I hope the boss see this and gives her a High five! I will definatly return next year. read more
