This is the first review I have ever written but by god does this place deserve it!!…read more Please do NOT go here! Me and my partner are doing up a camper van and we decided that for comfort we would get our cushions professionally made! First mistake was going here because professional they are not! We contacted the owner and discussed what we wanted and he said that's no problem we can certainly do that and he even gave us a quote of €590 which is a lot of money but as I said we wanted to splash out to be happy in the knowledge that we will be able to have a comfortable sleep! We had to take time off work to go down to the show room! Had to wait for the owner to arrive even though he knew what time we were arriving! He had a young lady (who could not of been more helpful by the way! Pity I can't say the same for her sham of a boss) show us around and pick the material we wanted and also what foam we wanted! After an hour of a wait he finally swanned in to talk to us. First impressions weren't good because when we showed him what we wanted he didn't have 1 but if interest in listening to us. We had told him we had to drive down the campervan specifically to show him what we wanted. He just said "sure send me the measurements" we said no the whole reason we came down is so you take the measurements so we know that if anything is wrong then it's not our fault. I should have went with my gut as it was telling me this man was dodgy! Always trust your gut people! Because I was right! He reluctantly took the measurements himself and when we told him what fabric and foam we picked he suddenly "forgot" that he had quoted us! I said you quoted €590 and he didn't answer. He said he will need a deposit which is usually a third of what the cost is so we paid a €200 deposit (which then would mean that the total cost would be €600) As we were leaving he said they would be ready in 10-14 days and that he would let us know the final cost. I said no you took a deposit of a third of the total cost so therefore the balance left is €400. Again no answer. He gave the original quote so he has to stick with it. Off we went then and 3 weeks later we called to see are they ready to be picked up. He said no it will be another week. Another week goes by which now means we are 4 weeks waiting. Then all of a sudden he stops answering the phone to my partner. By this point we are totally stressed out as we saved so hard to have just a bit of comfort! Eventually he answered and said we could collect them at his house some evening as they are ready. We said ok and gave him an evening that we could go down then he said no he can't as he has to go to cork. All very suss! My partner point blank asked him if they were even ready and he finally admitted that no they were not made yet. At this stage the amount of stress he had caused us was huge. My partner then called and called but he would not answer. When he did answer my partner had told him that we were sending a courier down to pick them up which by the sounds of him he didn't like for whatever reason! Thankfully a family member generously offered to go pick them up for us and my partner again tried to call on Friday to say that they will be collected the following Monday. Again he wouldn't answer the phone! I called him from my phone 1 minute after my partner had and he answered the call straight away. I told him who I was and he proceeded to tell me a bunch of lies to which I calmly said was not the case as I have seen all the unanswered calls my partner had made and all the unanswered text messages. I told him that they are getting picked up on Monday and made him confirm that they were ready to which he said yes. Monday comes and my partner is ringing ringing ringing to tell him that our family member is on the way.. no answer! I then had to call (I was at a funeral that day and had to take time away from my family to make this call) and surprise surprise he answered my call straight away! Told him someone was on the way to collect them and all he cared about was getting the balance paid. When our family member arrived he was nowhere to be found even though he said he would be there. Our family member inspected the cushions and found that they were very poorly made. The person who she was dealing with said we could have €50 off the final cost. At this stage we had no choice but to take them as we have nothing else. In total we got 4 cushions made and 2 of them are not the material or colour we picked! We feel like he didn't have enough of the material we picked and just threw together another 2 in a similar shade just to get them made! I know this was a long read but for anyone who has taken the time to read this please avoid this company at all costs. The stress this has caused us is immense. We were just 2 people looking for some cushions to me professionally made and we ended up 2 very stressed people at a loss of nearly €600. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
