I like Boots but I don't go there very regularly because lets face it, most of the stuff they sell you only NEED occasionally. This is a nice sizeable store, with lots of beauty counters and a very wide range of products. Having an advantage card is good as every time you go in you can check the machine and see if there are any offers for you. Sometimes there are freebies! They also do really good offers like 'till spits' where you spend over a fiver and get a £5 makeup voucher for free which is great as there is no minimum spend so it's essentially a free bit of makeup. Their food selection is quite good to, they do a lunch offer so if you are caught without food then you could do a lot worse than going in here. I've always found the staff to be excellent as well, really helpful. read more

A good sized branch of Boots based in the centre of Leicester, if it weren't for it's location I would use it over the Fosse Park branch every time. The staff, whilst almost always busy, are friendly and helpful, and willing to give you the time needed for your query. There is an almost overwhelming variety of make-up and perfume ranges, a good and varied toiletry/general section, the pharmacy is easy to use with efficient and knowledgeable staff, and the children and baby department is large and well stocked. Access around the store is generally good for buggies and wheelchairs, with a lift to the upper level situated near the rear of the store. read more

This branch of Boots is easily the biggest in Leicester and for most the easiest to get to as its located right in the centre of town. Selling every kind of toiletry you could imagine there is also a built in pharmacy downstairs and an opticians upstairs. It's very easy to get lost as there is so much variety and so many aisles to explore though the prices are brilliant and I sometimes find better bargains here than at the main supermarket chains. There's always opportunities to nab some free samples too and they have some gorgeous toiletry sets available at Christmas. They have also introduced self service checkouts this year which really reduces the amount of queuing though when asked a question the staff are very helpful and will always explore all the possibilites with you. read more

Large boots in the middle of the city, situated next door to Marks and spencer. The pharmacy is down a few stairs to the left of th store, and as you enter you are confronted by perfumary. Guess the most frustrating thing is if you are looking for a bottle of coca cola or a sandwich you are forced to walk through the middle of the store past the tills and then some. Good sized Boots, set in the centre of town.Easily accessible and set on two floors. Pretty much everything you need can be found in this branch. The pharmacy bit is usually well stocked and the pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly. Thre are usually some good offers on at any given time and there are some points machine situated near the main doors, which is good. Good selection of make up brands and perfumary. read more

i love boots and as soon as you walk through the doors you can smell the perfume the counter girls are great and offer lots of assistance with make up and testers. the baby section upstairs is lovely with everthing you need to buy for your baby from nappes to buggys. there 3 for 2 on presents at christmas is great a real chance to save some money read more
