They offer a collection and delivery service on prescriptions (larger ones). As with a small pharmacy it's quite well stocked but they will order special items on request.

I go in there every week day to post items and a few times a week I buy toiletries from there. I will not list the names of the ladies who run the Pharmacy and shop counter, for fear of missing somebody out, but they are all so lovely. I will mention Bernard, as he is the only male in this female dominated bastion; and he is a lovely person too. They are so kind to the many elderly people who frequent the shop and nothing is too much trouble. They will collect prescriptions and deliver them. The majority of the large range of non prescription medicines and toiletries that they sell, are far cheaper than the large supermarkets; yet another good reason to visit this store. As for the Post Office, the 4 lovely ladies are Kim, Jenny, Jane and Mary; and once more, the service they offer is second to none. As with the shop counter staff, they have unlimited patience with the elderly, particularly those who struggle to remember their pin numbers.

They also provide a minor ailment service which enable you to get certain prescription goods without actually having to go to see a doctor, altho you do need to fill in a form and have your nhs number available to put on the form.

The pharmacy is attached to the surgery and is actually quite small in terms of floor space. They do sell a good array of non-medicine items, including baby milks and baby items, make-up, and toiletries. My only gripe with this pharmacy is that they close for lunch from 1pm till 2pm, and they don't open saturdays, but if you manage to remember this you won't go far wrong!

They consistently make errors, 'forget' to collect prescriptions, even though they have been asked to, and often don't deliver when they say they will. When we complained, on the most recent occasion, the Pharmacist (a very rude man, called Enrique), kept chuckling, as if the serious issue was amusing... If your prescription is important (and what prescription isn't?), DON'T touch these clowns with a bargepole - they WILL let you down. Don't risk your health, as this Pharmacy seems to feel their Duty of Care is optional!

Despite this it has most of the products that shoppers in this type of shopping centre would desire. The customer service is good but I have never known the store not to be busy, so expect to have to queue for a few minutes at the tills.
