I was a bit disappointed to find that they didn't have much that my local branch didn't have, they just had greater volumes of everything. Even so you can't beat shops like this and you will always find a bargain somewhere. I usually head straight for the books and DVDs but there are 'can't say no' offers all over the shop. One minor quibble is that you can only pay by card if you spend at least a fiver, although it isn't difficult to find five items worth buying.

Like most pound shops it has the essential, toilet roll, kitchen cleaners batteries and on the odd occasion ex major chain store stuff. For example we were visiting Wrexham for the day and i left my sunglasses in a pub, again, so for a quick fix i thought pound shop, if i lose them its a quid right. Bored on way hopme happy with my glasses i see the legs on them have had something blacked out with marker pen, so i scatched away and the glasses were last season Next sunnies for a quid!!! Also near teh train station so there is a fair amount of parking there too.
