Ever been to Bondi in peak summer? Yeah, this is the opposite. It's everything a north coast beach should be, you can run and bake and surf and read in perfect, pristine privacy, or something very closely approximating it. Don't know if the surf is any good? Get ye up the wooden lookout tower near the car park and have your bad self a look-see. Mebbe there's waves. Mebbe there ain't. Either way it's worth your while.
It's super close to town too, so if you wanted to, ohhhh I don't now, mebbe get some hot chips wrapped up in butcher's paper and take them down to the sand to scoff, that's entirely within the realms of possibility.
