Caleb and Emma were very helpful and sweet. We were visiting from Houston and were very impressed…read moreby the wide variety of items this location carries. Unfortunately, we weren't as impressed by their selection of sizes. My boyfriend wears XXL in shirts and 42/32 in slacks. We only found 1 button up long sleeve shirt and 2 pairs of flat front slacks in his sizes. Plenty of those items in smaller sizes. Very disappointing. To management: PLEASE fix the AC! We were there Friday and I got so warm that I almost passed out. We just left and again, I got very warm. Your store is extremely humid and stuffy. This makes it unpleasant to shop in, despite the great variety.

Brand new Cavender's location, had to grab some boots for a graduation and decided to stop in here,…read moreI really wanted to support a local business so had to grab them here compared to a mall or somewhere online. The staff was really helpful and many of them offered to help me try on boots. The only thing I noticed was any boot that was $800 or up I tried on was the most uncomfortable thing in the world. Notches hitting in your foot and the most roughest walking in my mind this whole "break in" thing is nonsense why would anyone buy these Lucchese boots and be like their comfortable... they are the most crappiest boot's I've ever wore or tried on. I'm not going to invest a grand to wait for this "break in" period to take effect I've already done that and NO DICE they never become comfortable, especially If I'm at the ranch all day working in rough fields. My advice if your looking for a comfortable boot for ranch, rodeo, work, try on the Ariats or Anderson Bean or the Cavender's brand. They have soles and are ten times more comfortable than any other boot. I'm normally size 13 in shoes but I had a size 11 boot because they DO STRETCH out a little bit. So don't invest in the hype of "Gucci" boots. Support the local brands, made in Texas not some crappy Italian boots and think your a real cowboy.
