I can tell you from that experience-- I would not personally use these attorneys for legal representation. We treated one of their clients after a car accident. They confirmed verbally two different times that they were representing our patient for the accident and would provide us with a letter of protection. During our patient's second visit (and only a matter of minutes after we had the second confirmation of representation) they decided to drop her case. They did not call us to inform us, they called the patient. Since they dropped her case AFTER treatment, the patient now has a bill that they cannot afford after an accident that was not their fault. I called the firm back to confirm this information and was treated as if this was just an everyday occurrence. We weren't issued any sort of apology or reason. I understand things happen that are out of our control, but If their standard business practice is to make assurances and then promptly change their mind-- I'm not sure I would trust them in the future. Needless to say, we will not be accepting any further patients with their representation. Poor business practices to say the least.

I wanted to make sure we were following the correct procedure for the bank he did business with. I started the process, with Mr King's office needing to have payment in full, in October 2017. I provided Mr King the documentation from my brother's bank, to make sure I would have all the needed paperwork. I had to initiate updates with Mr King's office, in order to find anything out. I have now been told by my brother's bank, the account will be closed and the funds will be sent to myself and my siblings. It is now February 2018. However, to get to that final step, I had to contact Mr Kings office once again, as they neglected to send me the actual affidavit, the court approved. Mr King's office only sent me the court signed document, with no names listed as the heirs. Mr King, nor his staff, never expressed any sympathy to myself for the death either. I was told this would be a quick process, and feel it should not have taken over 3 months.
