He is notorious for filing the top side of the nut as opposed to the correct way of removing the nut and taking from the bottom side. I had to take my guitar to an authorized Martin guitar repair shop after Steve got a hold of my instrument. They made me another nut from blank stock. Dexter Music's neglect, has caused premature wear to the finish on the neck. Also it appears as if the guitar had been bumped or dropped which cause a stress fracture that has most recently come to surface. This guitar is a 2023 Martin OOO-28, purchased new at a dealer in Southern Illinois. Steve Agee owner of Dexter Music is a joke. I've known him for years and I knew better than to take it there.
