I don't understand the hate, because I graduated from ECPI through their online campus, and I've…read morenever had any issues with them. I had no trouble getting in touch with my instructors, financial aid, career services-anybody really- and I lived on three different continents while I was studying there. I learned a ton through the EET program, and I've already got a great job thanks to my studies and my military experience. I don't live in the Virginia area, but I've never seen anyone raise an eyebrow in a bad way over having ECPI University on my resume. And all this nonsense about it being a for-profit school. I, for one, am GLAD it's a privately-owned for-profit school, because their survival relies solely on the product they put out, and I am really happy with the product I paid for and received. And if you think public schools are there solely as charities and not make money, you're fooling yourselves. If you're looking for a program that will move you through whilst holding your hand every step of the way, maybe you should stick to the government-funded "education" system you grew up with. If you're looking for a degree that will get you in the door anywhere even with no experience, you're going to have to pay a lot more money for it (think Harvard, Yale, Vanderbilt, etc). If you want further your education and build upon your experience, or if you're looking for the missing piece of your resume to get an that position to start your career, this is the place for you. If you're an adult who can handle your own administrative and financial affairs, and you have the drive to learn as much as possible because you love learning, then this is a great place for you.

Enrolling at ECPI, I expected guidance, structure, and support especially in a demanding program…read morelike nursing. Instead, I encountered an environment where students who struggled were often left feeling discouraged rather than helped, and where organization and communication were consistently lacking. One experience in particular deeply affected me. While I was struggling in a course, Ms. Kelly, who serves as both the ADON and a professor, suggested that I leave the nursing program and switch to the medical assistant or surgical tech program. She went as far as calling me a failure and telling me that I "must not be doing enough" to pass. Those words were not only disrespectful but incredibly damaging. Hearing this from someone in a nursing leadership role, someone who should understand the reality and difficulty of nursing school was heartbreaking. Instead of feeling supported, I felt dismissed, humiliated, and discouraged. This experience left me both angry and saddened. Angry because no student deserves to be spoken to that way, and saddened because this is not the kind of leadership or environment I expected in a nursing program meant to prepare compassionate future nurses. I encourage anyone considering this campus especially the nursing program to stay away from this school or you will regret it like I did. The support shown during admissions did not match the reality once classes began. Class sizes were larger than expected, leaving professors overwhelmed and students without enough individual attention. Dr. Edgar, the Director of Nursing, also served as a professor, which led to confusion and unclear direction. Each term, schedules were chaotic, and students were often left confused and expected to figure things out on their own. When concerns were voiced, students became targets and were treated more harshly instead of being supported. After making several attempts to address these concerns, I ultimately chose to withdraw from the program. I'm sharing this experience in hopes that ECPI takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful improvements so future students receive the support they deserve.

I received a flyer in the mail from ECCN and called them in for an estimate. The gentlemen that I met (Faisal) was very knowledgeable and friendly, he walked me through the process of what was needed and what he recommended without and pressure sales tactics. I decided on an IP camera system based on Faisals suggestions and glad that I did....the picture quality is excellent. I am a very pleased with the quality of installation and the DVR camera system . I am in no way affiliated with this company, just wanted to give credit where credit is due. If you are in the market for cameras or security systems please give ECCN a call I don't think you will be disappointed.
