The books are new-book prices so they are a bit expensive but just seeing the huge selection of books and the huge store is enough. I ended up getting one book as a gift for a friend and a Hodges Figgis tote bag for myself. The people working here are friendly and knowledgeable. There is always someone around if you have any questions.

As we walked by, we saw a sign that said, "Secret Book & Record Store", with an arrow pointing into a deep narrow hallway with posters of advertisements covering the walls. These places are the great finds in Dublin. At the end of the hall was a large room filled with used books, vintage vinyl & new releases including CDs. The store was a frezy of customers flipping through the bins of vinyl to find that one great band from their past. I did find a few old 80s punk albums but still on a quest today to find an original GBH or Exploited cover.

Ah pooh). If you have a particular book in mind and think you might go to SB&RS on the off-chance that they might have it: don't. Named after republican James Connelly, this book has cool texts on decolonization, racism, Irish history, and more.Their selection is well curated and great for leftists and history buffs. Everyone in the store while my partner and I were there were speaking Irish and it was exciting to be in the presence of folks speaking their native fanily language. Definitely check it out.

I had dropped by the day before for a latte in the afternoon, and I told myself that I'd be back. I'm so glad we came back the next day. Bestseller's is a small restaurant filled with character and good food and beverage to go with it. We went for the Full Irish, a Fried Egg Sandwich, and an Iced Latte. I absolutely housed the Full Irish. It was delicious. I felt like a king. The latte was spot on as well. What a way to begin the day. The service was amazing. The food came out quickly. It's a very nice place to spend a slow morning with friends or family. Yet ANOTHER one of the happiest places on earth to be found in Dublin. I will definitely be back.
