I did try a café au lait yesterday that tasted a bit watered down, but everything else has been on point. What really keeps me coming back is the experience. The customer service is always warm and welcoming, and the book selection is impressive--no matter what genre you're into, you'll find something here. I also love that it feels community-oriented. They also host book and craft clubs. We've been here a few times now, and it somehow gets better with each visit--always a slightly different experience. I picked up a few books for my upcoming trip, so I'm excited to finally slow down and get back into reading.

The layout of the store makes it seem like there are little alcoves and rooms everywhere. I love the racks in the main part of the store that highlight new paperbacks, staff recommendations, award winners, local authors, etc. Their "highlighted" books are 20% off. I picked up Anne Patchett's latest and a new historical novel about Anne Boleyn. (Both 20% off.) I also bought a staff recommendation and David Sedaris' new book of essays. Honestly, this is a dangerous spot for me to shop BUT make sure you keep track of your loyalty points card!

Good selection of books, but would *not* recommend…read more Book I ordered was not delivered and returned to sender, USPS mistake. (I have written admission of this from USPS.) Archives would not try to resend the book, and tried to charge me a penalty. First they claimed my address was incorrect (i showed them on the USPS site where my address is verified), then they claimed that they could not deliver without a 9 digit zipcode (not true), then they claimed they couldn't resend the book without a totally different address. This was all via email - and they refused to take my call or call me back to discuss. I even offered to come pick up the book, but they would not do that without me paying a penalty. I confirmed with the USPS that Archives could have resent the book to me for no additional charge and gotten a refund of the shipping penalty, but Archives refused to do so. Their customer service is clearly written by a bot, and they have no interest in actually helping customers.

He thought he picked up the version I prefer, but it wasn't right. So we returned today to exchange it, buy another one and a few things for my niece. This was my first visit here, but I will definitely we back. They had a fairly decent selection of items, it was well-organized, and the people working were very helpful and kind. Expect to pay about $40 on average for a Bible, but it's well worth it.

They have videos but not new ones. And right now there are a bunch of new inspirational. I think they just want to skim by as a local store or they simply can't afford to update their stock.
