This is something we have started seeing more and more of in the past few years - discount book…read moresores, not second hand books you understand but shops who are buying up unsold stock from somewhere and opening these useful but always cheap looking shops. Book Station is another one of these but don't think I am against them at all. You can find the odd wee treasure if you go and rummage often enough.. I found an American 1st addition of Terry Pratchets Good Omens in such a shop a little while ago for less than 10 Euro. A heck of a find in anyone's book! They also stock the usual gift papers, bags, ribbons and paraphernalia, all for a lot less than you'll pay in other stationers.

Along with the really friendly, chatty helpful staff the chilled atmosphere and cool music make this a lovely store for browsing.

There used to be a guy here who was a real smooth pen salesman, gave me the hard sell on a cross fountain pen, which I still have. Apparently, or so he told me, it's the same pen Christy Moore bought here and uses. An extraordinary collection of school bags and laptop cases in such a small shop push Star Office Supplies into the four star rating category, I mean it's amazing they still have room to spare for envelopes. You may think four is unreasonable but if you read my review of the Stationary Super Store you'll know how much I love stationary shops.
