The good: - Our account manager was quick to find us a suitable math tutor for our son. The tutor is experienced and explained the concepts very clearly to my son. The tutor also listened to our needs and expectations and than took the initiative with the lesson after that - Their pricing is also reasonable compared to the other companies that I have researched. I will definitely be recommending you to my friends The bad: - The cost does add up year after year of tutoring. They should have a cost reduction program maybe through online so that it becomes more affordable for long term The verdict: I will recommend them to my friends as the tutor is helpful and explained things clearly. However, you have to set aside some money for tutoring if you are doing it long term because it does hurt the pocket read more

I find their customer service very professional and friendly. The tutors are very knowledgeable, patient and dedicated individuals. I would recommend their services to others who require tutoring assistance. I used their services when I needed help in statistics. I started using their services in the middle of the semester and by the end of the semester, there was an overall improvement of 10-15%. Overall, I am satisfied with their services and found their prices to be very affordable. I would use their services in the future. read more

Customer Service. Was poor to say the least. They were not able to return my phone calls until days later. The person on the phone my wife spoke to was Andy. No last name was given from the emails. The Tutors: We had two different chemistry tutors. One did not understand the material very well and told us that she would get back to us the next day to explain. A week later they provided us with another tutor who had a very strong accent and my daughter had trouble understanding him explain the material. The good thing I would say was the first tutor was a sweetheart but just did not understand the material. Quality: The quality is poor. We had two different tutors and we were not happy with both of them. Rate: The rate was actually good but the service did not match the rate I was paying read more

Not to happy with services. They were not professional at all with me. When I tried to call them to let them know that I was NOT happy with the tutor they responded 5 days later. I then tried to go their business residence and found that it was just an appartment not a business. Very poor service. Did not get my refund :( read more

Not impressed! I was ready to join with them. The sent me their rates by email. I was ready to make a payment to begin tutoring for my daughter. But then I thought the prices are too good to be true. So i decided to investigate them a little further. I went to Google and typed book smart tutor reviews. I looked at their reviews from Google and they looked good. However, I am an investigative freelance journalist and I dug deeper into reading the reviews. The reviews seemed like they were written by the same person and seemed to be written in a promotional business advertisement perspective. Then I scrolled down and went to a site called toronto.cityfamilyguide and found a shocker. The review they had their from a Stacey S was the exact same review as an Albert King from Google. Either they are paying a company for their reviews or they wrote their reviews on a word document and posted the same review on this other site with a different name. I was appalled to say the least. After this I cannot trust this company with my money. read more

This company provides one on one in home tutoring with a choice of certified teachers or experienced univeristy graduates at different price points. I find their customer service very professional and their tutors are very knowledgable and dedicated. We live in newmarket,ON and I know it is very difficult to find tutors here. However, they were able to get my son two very good tutors - 1 for French and the other for Math. They would come once a week for each subject and my son has gotten about 10-15% higher on his grades. Pricewise they are very fair for their quality services. Finally, if you have to cancel the appointment, you will have to do it at least 6 hours before the appointment which gives me enough time to cancel it if my son is sick in the morning when he goes to school or when he calls me at lunch time. read more

In the past, my daughter was quite bad at Grade 5 Math and barely passed. Most of the time, she couldn't focus on doing math practice or her homework. But after having few tutoring sessions, she started to show a gradual improvement in grades. Step by step, she gained interests and confidence in doing math practice prepared by the tutor. Transaction to set up my tutoring was hassle free. The tutor was very professional and knowledgeable. I was very comfortable with the tutor and found the information I was struggling with became much more clear.
