Would not recommend this site at all for ordering clothes. I am glad they have free returns but honestly such a disappointing experience. Ordered 15+ items for $200. Sounds like a bargain right? Well in life you get what you paid for: my clothes felt like trash. The fit was sooo awkward and as I went through trying each item with the flimsy cheap material it was made of, I grew more and more sad. I'm all for trendy clothes, but pay a little bit more but not only was the material bad, the fit was absolutely terrible. Also they own Nasty Gal, so I won't even bother trying to shop from there! read more

I placed back to back orders. When the first one arrived, it was a completely different order. I had ordered a blazer and matching pants, and I received 3 completely different items. On the website, it said to contact customer service via iMessage, Instagram DM, or Facebook DM (which is weird). I contacted them in all 3 of those ways and only ever got an AI bot response saying somebody would contact me. Nobody ever did (that was over a month ago). I figured it was a fluke, one-time mistake, but when my second order arrived it was ALSO a completely different order (it was boohoo men's items). Again, I contacted customer service in the 3 ways listed on the website and never received a response. I disputed the charges on PayPal and eventually got most of my money back from PayPal, but I had to pay for the return shipping for both packages (even though it wasn't my fault they sent me the incorrect order TWICE). I'll never order from them again. read more

I have cleared my browser and tried every recommended step, including using the app, which is fully updated. I have been attempting to resolve this issue since July. It is now December. My bank is currently disputing the charge on my behalf. I would be satisfied with a voucher, but only if it actually works. At present, you have provided vouchers that cannot be redeemed on your own website. If your platform is unable to support something this basic, then you are required to issue a refund. It is not acceptable to retain customers' money while offering unusable gift cards as a substitute. This situation is completely unacceptable. It feels as though the process is being made unnecessarily difficult in the hope that customers will give up. I will not do so. I will continue pursuing this matter with my bank until it is resolved. Please act professionally and do the right thing by either providing a working voucher or issuing a full refund. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Made a large order for winter clothes never having issue with returns previously. Returns sent and I have been given a gift card instead of a refund! I have not received any decent human interaction regarding this via Messenger or Whatsapp therefore resorting to email and opening a case with RESOLVER. A default option is not legally binding! A pre-selected default does NOT count as consent under UK consumer law! A voucher refund is only valid if the customer actively chooses it! The Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Rights Act requires you to prove I actively selected this! Waiting for hear more but wont ever be using them ever again! read more

Shocking to no customer service, refusing to refund me for several items that were in the returned package, states have cctv but wont share it. Wouldnt have had to return so much if they had more accurate sizing. Kept 1 £24 jumper which now os costing me £126. Absolutely disgusting read more

This would be 0 if i could This would be 0 if i could. Boohoo is now scamming customers by preselecting the new gift card option so they can steal our cash! I tried returning and item and carried it out the normal way, only to realise they preselected gift card. Once I noticed and tried to go back it wouldnt let me. I have been reading reviews and realised so many of us are being scammed this way. Boohoo has lost over 200 million this year and we the loyal consumers are now paying for it through this new scam. I will no longer be purchasing from these thieves. Don't bother reaching out to customer services as all the replies are the same. Lying that we choose that option when it is preselected shows how desperate this company read more

I ordered an item with Next Day Delivery on 6th September (8 days ago). Parcel went missing, I contacted Boohoo via message and email - majority of messages were ignored. One person told me I have to wait until 18th of September! I paid for Next day delivery which was supposed to be 7th Sept and they tell me to wait another 11 days. No one tried to help, sort it out! I requested a refund since I don't need the item any more - I was ignored! The worst service ever, disrespectful for a customer. Once I receive my money back (if they ever pay me back for the parcel that was lost) I will delete the account and never order again! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE/app!!! read more

Slow Refund, Unfair Deductions & Poor Customer Service I returned an item to Boohoo on 2 August 2025, which they confirmed receiving on 4 August 2025. Despite following their return policy exactly, I was told I'd have to wait until 17 August 2025 for my refund -- nearly two weeks after they already had my item. To make matters worse, I paid for next day delivery when ordering, but Boohoo still deducted money from my refund for returning my package. This feels incredibly unfair given that the delivery fee was paid separately and the return was within their stated policy. Multiple follow-ups via chat were met with the same scripted replies, and my formal complaint email was ignored. A refund should be processed promptly once goods are received -- not dragged out for weeks -- and customers should not be penalised with extra deductions in these situations. If you value timely refunds, fair treatment, and decent customer service, avoid Boohoo. read more

AVOID this scamming site. I've been a loyal customer for a long time, Despite the majority of the items being of poor quality. I placed an order for £150, which needs to be returned as the sizing/quality are poor. Boohoo have now changed the way returns are generated and have failed to advise people that instead of a cash refund, you'll now receive an unwanted gift card. I had not created a return, as i will not accept a gift card for £150, which has to be used within 90 days. I contacted customer service who stated that as a return had not been generated, it could be cancelled and i could restart and have a refund. Turns out that this was a lie. Boohoo are now saying that i will have to accept a gift card. Which i do not want. Despite their T&C stating that gift cards can be cancelled. Trying to get a response from their customer service team in a timely manor is near impossible. Many many other people on social media are having the exact same issue. I will be taking legal action against this now shambles of a website. AVOID at ALL costs and spend your money elsewhere. read more

Still waiting on refund on items returned and received by them on 06/03/25. Tried to raise dispute on PayPal! Boohoo told me to close dispute in order to pay refund. I was reluctant to do so as the refund was already almost 10 day late. I have since cancelled my dispute reluctantly in hopes that i will now receive my refund of 101.59. But now not getting any response to my emails, Facebook messages or WhatsApp messages. This is really unfair. I purchased from them about a month ago for the first time. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had. I purchased 5 items and only received 2. The parcel was practically opened when it arrived in my mail box. The packaging is pretty bad which is probably why items went missing. I was so excited to like this online shop. The app also is not good with telling you where your order is or if half the items are arriving etc. they also told me they looked at footage and it wasn't their fault. All I wanted was for them to resend the same items !! I lost $100 USD from this first purchase. Never ever ever again will I shop from this place. Now I am sooo skeptical about purchasing over seas items. I really do love the 2 items I received and so upset about not getting what I paid for or any store credit idk something !! read more

I ordered a pair of jeans from boohoo which was recommended to me by a friend as they have a lot of jeans options. I bought a pair of jeans for around £30 and paid £6.99 for next day delivery as I had a conference two days after and I wanted to order in advance. I paid extra to receive the package the next day so if I'm not satisfied, I can look for another option. I was supposed to receive the package the next day at 9 pm but I didn't receive it until two days after (day of the conference )at 9 am so I didn't even get to wear it. I could only contact with boohoo through messages as they don't have any other form of contact and they were quite dismissive and the three times I spoke to them they told me an agent would get in contact with me and I waited days to be contacted by them (which clearly they didn't ). This just shows how little they care for customers and their needs. £6.99 might not sound like much but if I am told I will receive my package the next day that's what I expect, and if there was any issue with the Weather or anything, I should've at least be told or given an option to cancel my order.Overall I won't be buying from them again as they have shows how little they care for customers. read more

Absolutely do not use this shop. They are a disgrace. I wanted to return an item and was conned into receiving a gift card instead of my money back. I'm a pregnant woman who works for the NHS, I don't have the luxury of having cash to burn. Firstly I couldn't find a single decent method to actually contact them - Facebook seemed the only way to go. I ended up going down a rabbit hole of spam bots, not a single real person would pick up my enquiry. They claim that I selected gift card and now there is no way to undo it. The issue is, I DIDNT choose gift card, there was no other option presented or at least, no clear option to select original payment method. I went on all their socials and saw streams and streams of similar complaints, either people who had also been conned into gift cards or just people having problems getting refunds. I tried to create a case through resolver and escalated it about 3 times to boohoo and didn't get a single response. I've sent countless Whatsapp and Instagram messages, Facebook messages and emails and not a single human response other than bots spouting that I chose a gift card and there is no way to undo it. Also!!!! I got spammed to hell by bot comments and even friend requests from customers service bots on Facebook. Streams and streams of them!! This company is just a giant con. I never received an item purchased, and no one has been back in touch with me to help. I placed an order: Order number YDD14763-144-35. Which was this: **Moonlight Delights Benetint, Brow Setter, Badgal Bang Mascara & Porefessional Primer Gift Set (Worth £67) MULTI ONE SIZE** This came with a free gift. On Saturday 7th September, I received the free gift only, which I thought was odd. I made contact straight away, showing an image of the empty box (with the small free gift inside) and asked for help as I was missing the whole item. The issue was apparently investigated and I received an email to say 'CCTV Footage shows the item being placed in the box upon packing.' I replied to say I'd like to see the footage. I have received no further correspondence. I emailed again, on the 13th September, asking for someone to contact me. Now, on the 24th September I am still yet to hear from anyone. I had to buy the item again as it was a gift for a friend. I have not been offered anything, and just completely ignored. read more

Boohoo is a SCAM! I would choose no stars if I could, I always shop at boohoo and have never had any issues however I sent a parcel back containing 7 items and boohoo have only refunded me for 3 items and are adamant that they will not refund me for these items. I asked them to review my account as I shop at boohoo quite often and have never had an issue. I understand people say this to make a profit but they can clearly see on my account that I've never had this issue before and all returns are successful ( this is what usually companies like ASOS do they check your previous activity and can see you are an honest shopper) It is not my fault if things get stolen during shipment or at the boohoo warehouse. They said they have cctv footage and I asked to view it they completely ignored my request. Boohoo you have lost a customer I will not be purchasing anything from your website ever again!!! Most unhelpful customer service ever! read more

Wouldn't recommend. "Fuller Bust" swim suits are undoubtedly not bra sizes even if you order it in your bra size. If you're looking for fuller bust bikinis basically skip over Boohoo. I ordered an "olive" bodycon dress that was actually an army green, when I contacted support I was told its due to studio lighting. The olive color pictured on site was close to a chartreuse, not even close to what I received even if my dress was shown/photographed under the studio lights I use for business- it's entirely false advertising. My order was split in two packages, only one (not even half my order) came in the expedited time frame I paid extra for. Overall, I do not recommend. I wouldn't trust a company that says lighting makes such a big difference in their products since most people hope to receive close to what they see on the site. read more

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE !!! I'm not sure who's leaving a 5 start review to this company on here, probably paid influencers!!!! No one in their right mind would if they actually ordered and spent their money with them! I placed an order on 23rd of March, returned it a week later AND IM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. I tried contacting boohoo on every platform possible. Emailed customer service, messaged on WhatsApp on iMessage on Instagram or Facebook. All you get in automated crap that an agent will get back to me and the agent keeps sending me the same message that my refund is being processed. I have ordered from them before and since the 'rebrand' company has gone so down the hill I don't think they will ever get back up. I will never spend my hard earned money with them ever again. Refund better hit my account otherwise I will be suing and I'm sure I'm not the only one, last week I was invited to a hate group for boohoo on Facebook that's how furious people are with this company. It's an absolute scam and I will tell everyone I know to stay away. Who ever reads this review, please don't spend your money with them. Their stuff is cheap and not worth the hassle!!!!!!!!! order #UK1105491344 Returned 7 items to boohoo, they only refunded me for 5 and confirmed they'd checked CCTV and only the 5 items were in the parcel, however, I actually returned the 2 missing items in a second parcel and the tracking numbers for the recieved parcel (5 items) and the missing parcel (2 items) were delivered at the exact same time and date via the inpost tracking so the tracking shows you recieved both but you've only refunded me for one - how did that happen? Boohoo still continue to claim I only returned 1 parcel despite the tracking proof. It's ridiculous, I don't have the items and still being charged £72 on klarna. I only noticed I wasn't refunded the full amount as it was a pay in 30 days so only realised something was incorrect when klarna emailed to say money would be taken in a day or two. I've asked for proof of the cctv but no, Inpost wont accept a claim unless its by the company who paid/arranged the delivery, Have asked boohoo to do a claim and still awaiting a reply but doesn't answer how the tracking shows boohoo received it and they are taking no responsibility for receiving it. read more

I have been attempting to resolve an issue with pricing and false advertisement of a product. I get bombarded with emails about discounts and then once I use them and play by their rules they switch things up and charged me a higher price. Beware and triple check your order before you hit send. Read all the fine print disclaimer and then do it all over again to make sure you know what you're getting into. They do not have an exchange policy and they charge you a fee to return items(even if you need to only exchange them). Then you have to repurchase them with another shipping fee added and hope the item is in stock for the size you need; that may be a higher price then when you originally purchased it. The company does not have a direct customer service number, the chat feature is a joke and the answers you get back from email are all scripted to be your fault or you just have to keep the item. I chose an item and received something different than what was shown in color and design, it's only when you scroll to the last image that they show you what you are really going to receive. Unfortunately I didn't see that until too late. I have been extremely respectful and flexible in my communication asking only for a price adjustment on the items so I don't have to incur another unnecessary return charge, but to no avail has the company been reasonable. I get a different customer service person every single communication, which is by email only. I have communicated with them seven times and it has gotten ridiculous. I believe the site is a scammer in a sense. I have received some products but they are ill fitting to the point I would have to spend more money to get them tailored to fit properly. I also attempted to get an garment that had featured eight photos, I reached out to customer service and was told that they may have some items that are a shade or two darker or lighter. This item was completely different in color and style. Rust and white are not the same; no button to three buttons is totally different. I want to stress be extremely caution and mindful when dealing with this company. Tip for consumers: Buyer be extremely beware, think about it and then think about it again. I understand everytime may not be this bad but the odds are not in there favor right now. They need an overall of the process for everything. read more

OMG!!!!! AVOID THIS MESSED UP PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE Run, run run from this company!!!!! They have been sued in a class action suit regarding their practices and had to issue $10 gift codes to their customers as a settlement requirement. The class action case number is: 2:20-CV 03332 with the name "Kahn v Boo Hoo." It's much easier to find the court documents on line by searching "Kahn v Boo Hoo" than using the case number. I received my settlement gift card code in an email from them. However, this code doesn't work regardless of whether you enter it in caps or lower case or whether you enter it into the "gift card" space or the "promo code" space on their checkout form. So far, after complaining about the unusable code, I've had approximately 16 back and forth emails from them all containing misleading instructions and conflicting statements. Currently, they are telling me (finally) that yes, the code I received was missing a letter and that they have sent me the new code which will work. However.....LOL. I have received NOTHING from them except ridiculous emails telling me that my email system needs to be "refreshed." Wrong! It's their ethics that need to be refreshed. So far, still no new code and I'm not holding my breath. I believe that they are trying to get out of the settlement agreement by sending bogus codes and then using stalling tactics to keep the complaints from being forwarded. When you consider that they had to issue millions of these $10 codes, they are set to lose a ton of money if everyone or even just half the people redeem their codes. I'm in the process of communicating with the law firm and the judge regarding this situation but wanted to warn everyone that this company is really really bad. I've purchased from them once and while I liked my jacket, I had to return another one and I don't believe that I ever was refunded. I'm also in the process of checking my credit card statement to see if I got a refund. I'm pretty sure that I didn't but the amount was so low that it wasn't worth all my time to try and get a straight answer from them. Now I'm on a mission to find out if they ever refunded my money. It's tempting to purchase from them because to me, they have fun clothes. But DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!!! At the very least, read the contents of the court case to see what other tactics they use to rip people off. Allegedly they settled because it was cheaper than continuing the lawsuit and they deny doing anything wrong. From what I can see, they actually settled the suit because they knew that the gift card codes they'd issue would be bogus and that dealing with them is such a hassle that most people will give up. NOT ME! I'm going to forward all my correspondence to the Plaintiff's attorneys who just happen to have an office here in Sacramento. DON'T BUY FROM THEM! DON'T BUY FROM THEM! DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
