One of the things I noticed was him spraying around in the engine compartment, but they'd done engine detailing in the past, so I thought nothing of it. The last thing he did was buff the clouded headlight lenses. We didn't start the vehicle until the next evening, and I immediately noticed one headlight was out. I determined the connection was okay. The next business day I took the vehicle for new headlight bulbs - halogen. John has been unwilling to deal with this, though I sent him a scan of my replacement bulb bill. I also note that the clouded headlight lenses are still milky and not clear! I've notified him of THAT via email, and.. nothing. So I'm posting this. CHECK YOUR VEHICLE THOROUGHLY *before* the detailer leaves.

John did a fantastic job on my mom's 2006 Chrysler. She loves her car and likes to keep it shiny,…read moreso I thought a nice detailing would be a great belated Mother's Day present for her. (Yes, I got her flowers too!) Anyway, she was blown away by how great the car looked. John was able to restore the finish to a sparkling shine, and under the hood, it looks like the car just rolled off the line! I highly recommend John and Ideal Finish to anyone who cares about how your car looks. Thanks!

THANKFULLY he was free and able to come right away (last minute on my part). He got to work quickly, wasting no time making my car look brand new again. I was impressed by his pricing and attention to detail. He worked really hard for the better part of 2 hours getting my car back to how I like to have it. Hired Jonathan to detail my 2014 Audi A7 Prestige in early spring…read more At first, it appeared he was doing a great job, but I noticed he drove away before I could tip him. Very odd. Once he had out a safe distance between us, Jonathan texted me that he had poked a hole in my seat with a screwdriver and vowed to make it right. I reached out to him multiple times and the only fix he could offer was further detailing at a discount. He has made no action toward actually getting the leather repaired. Highly unprofessional way of conducting business. I understand that mistakes happen, but when they're made, they should be rectified and not met with excuses and platitudes. Will not hire again, and I advise you to also be wary. A detailer that can't be bothered or afford to fix his mistakes is far more of a liability than an asset.
