Nursery seems lovely inside. However, we were very disappointed by poor communication/ misinformation by owners. Following a telephone enquiry to the nursery we were informed a space was available for our daughter. We therefore took time off from work to visit with our daughter. Again we were told space was available on the days required. We therefore completed the paperwork and heard nothing for 10 days. We then received an email to say might not be able to accommodate on one of the days. We queried by return email and heard nothing back. A few weeks later we telephoned and asked if space was available on a different day. Owner said he was in the middle of dealing with a banking issue and could he get back to us. That was 6 weeks ago, still waiting on a reply. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and complete disregard for other peoples time and energy. Separate issue, and small point on fee structure, not good value if child attends on a Monday. Fee structure states that there are 4 Monday holidays that are charged for but nursery may be closed, likewise for Good Friday. Shame organisational side of things not that good as facilities seem lovely. read more

I put my daughter's name down for Bonnington House in the Summer in the hope she would get a place in February 2013 when she turned 3. I was told that her place would be confirmed in November. Despite several emails and phone calls, November came and went without confirmation of her place. We still hadn't heard by January, despite several further phone calls, so I began calling every week. In February I sent an email expressing my frustration. I was told that one of my requested days was a problem by the further two should be manageable. A meeting was set up for mid February, then cancelled. A further meeting was arranged for the following week. I was told at this meeting that one of the days was not available, as expected, but also that the place for the two further days would only be available for a year. This meant that my daughter would have to leave the nursery the following March. When I asked the manager why I wasn't told of this previously, I was met by the response "we only found out last night". I find this unbelievable given we had been on the waiting list for over 6 months, our place was meant to have been confirmed 3 months earlier, I had been in touch with them every week for 2 months and we had had a meeting set up for 2 weeks. The manager showed no empathy for our position and was rude. I would not recommend this nursery. read more
