By New Year's Day I was in so much pain I went to the Emergency Department. They gave me two pain tablets while I was there. Then I was given a bottle of numbing drops and told to use them sparingly. Since they couldn't write me for pain medication. Luckily Eye North texted me on the third. When they found out what I was using they both came into the office to meet me. These drops caused coronial erosion. They put a very expensive placenta cover on my eye hoping to rebuild the coronial. When that didn't work, they referred me to a specialist and I just got the eye patch off last week. If they hadn't checked in on me I probably would have lost the sight in one eye

Upon my visit I was questioned with why I was there- The location uploaded the wrong xray that my dentist sent. I had to personally call the dentist since they said it was closed that day. They sent the same file to Northern Oral and finally after another 30 minutes they had the xray. They gave myself the exact same information that my dentist gave 1 month prior. It was a total waste of my time.

The new Staff and Providers really make you feel welcome and take the time to listen to you. There is a new Man there I can't think of his name but he walks around and says hello to you in the lobby as he passes by he appears to have a good relationship with the staff the all speak very highly of him and offer the ability to talk with him if there is an issue. We have been in Hibbing for many years and with Essentia for all of them, I have really noticed the difference since the summer of 2019.

I dread checking out and having to schedule a follow up appointment because I know they are going to be rude and snappy as if I'm wasting their time. They always make you feel unwelcome - I can't think of many times I've had an interaction with one of them that they haven't snapped at me. I actually put off and avoid calling to make appointments - I use MyHealth whenever possible for scheduling because they are so freaking rude and mean. Today my roommate had an appointment that was apparently canceled and he wasn't notified. Well, the lady, of course, started snapping and getting this unwarranted attitude; so much so that he left without making another appointment. If my wonderful family doctor who I've seen all my life wasn't at Essentia in Hibbing, there's no way I would ever go there. They just ruin your day. As if going to the clinic wasn't crappy enough already!

I am a healthcare professional myself and I give my highest recommendation without hesitation to…read moreDr. Baich and his staff. The Doctor (an ACTUAL doctor, not a lower level less educated "provider") and his staff treat patients as individuals. There is no invasion of privacy, and your medical records are actually safe. I felt I was member of a team to find my issues and treat them, my questions were answered and my input taken seriously. That is their philosophy and they practice it. I am so fortunate to have found this office - one of the few remaining private or small group doctors in northern Minnesota. Thank you Dr and staff!! This is a refreshing change from the medical megamarts where medicine is an assembly-line knee jerk process, and often the patient input is ignored, they are assumed to be ignorant, while the providers assume they themselves are omniscient.

We are so grateful that we found Dr. Baich and his team. We first found this clinic last summer as…read morewe needed to find a doctor in the region that could see us straight away and every place we called had no openings that day. We found this clinic via a Google search and though we saw the doctor's name appear on other locations like Deer River where he does surgeries, but we learned that the clinic in Coleraine is his headquarters and that he does do surgeries at a couple of hospitals in the region. We were relieved to hear that his clinic is "walk-in" and the wait is usually short. Here's why Dr. Baich and his clinic are so great: 1. Dr. Baich is an experienced doctor & surgeon. 2. Dr. Baich is the first doctor I've ever been in a room with where the doctor isn't rushing off to another patient, but connects with each of his patients to make sure they have all the answers they need. 3. No wait for scheduling- Because it's a walk-in clinic and the wait is usually very short. This means on days when need to see a doctor, you can be sure to get in to see Dr. Baich at the clinic on his non-surgery days. (I understand he has two surgery days each week which he splits between a couple of regional hospitals.) 4. Customer service - The clinic staff are great. 5. Accessible- The clinic is a few minutes from Grand Rapids and right off the free way. 6. Affordable- a consult, resulting minor surgery, and follow-up combined cost us less than a 15-min. doctor's visit at other clinics. This is important for cash paying or high-deductible insurance policy holders!! In an era where the healthcare industry is growing larger and larger (and more costly), this is one clinic where you won't get lost in it all.

She was incredibly flexible and easy to communicate with, and had COVID-19 procedures in place. I highly recommend her deep tissue massage-she was able to get to the root of the problem and I walked out feeling significantly better. I liked that her website featured a variety of packages and she was very fair priced. She also has a pleasant bedside manner and allowed me to relax which I really appreciated. I will absolutely be a return client once I am back in town, thank you so much Ann!
