Had a head CT scan. Like the other review I do believe she is correct in that this facility is…read morecharging more than other facilities that are available. It's close to my house, new & clean, so just went with it. Was seen quickly, the staff is kind of eh. What really bothered me & why I am giving it such a poor rating is that the entire waiting/entrance area smells like French fries! Really Bon Secours, who is managing this place, totally disgusting. I could smell French fries even before I saw the little cafe, just really in bad taste to have a health facility smell like a fast food restaurants. If you have to wait long, your clothes will absorb the odor-that is how strong it was.

TERRIBLE! My husband came into the ED for chest pain. He had an EKG and blood work. All came back…read moregood, which was great, but his chest pain continued. They pumped him full of GI cocktails and acid reflux medications. Offered little to no help, and in fact made things worse in the end. The nursing staff really didn't seem to care much and certainly were not in any type of rush to figure his chest pain out (and mind you, they weren't busy. They were sitting at the nurses station carry on in conversation, laughing and giggling. Don't get me wrong, that's great because I know this work is stressful, I've worked in an ED before, but damn, my husband was having CHEST PAIN; I don't care how serious they thought it was, it was serious to us because it wasn't normal!!!). There didn't seem to be any type of communication between the doctor and the nurses as the doctors told my husband he would have a repeat EKG 3 hours after his first one (at 1:30am), to which, the nurse stated he knew nothing about and said he would talk to the doctor. Not sure that communication even occurred because we never received even a follow-up stating no EKG or yes an EKG would be performed. After telling the nursing staff that the protonix that was given to him made his pain worse, I got an "okay, I'll let the doctor know." Again, was that communication had?! Who knows because no doctor or nurse came in to check on him. At this point my husband had been in the ED for 5 hours with barely any feedback or anything. Half the time I think he was forgotten about and the help button either didn't work or it was ignored...every. single. time!!!! Thank goodness I was there with him or he would've never gotten any help. Every time I went to the nurses station I got little to no answers. Then, one of the nurses had the audacity to talk and laugh as I walked away after I asked what we're really waiting for, because at that point we've gotten little to no communication. Was explained that all the blood work and his EKG came back good, so as soon as the doctor is done seeing another patient she will come in and then we can go home. Go home....WITH CHEST PAIN TO WHERE MY HUSBAND CAN'T MOVE AND DIDN'T KNOW THE CAUSE OR SOURCE?! I got a bunch of heads shaking yes, since this is not an "emergent matter." Smfh!!!!! No doctor actually did come in, but two nurses came in to take my husbands IV out as we were already preparing to leave. I am so glad this is a laughing matter to the nursing staff. We would NEVER recommend this hospital to anyone wanting answers to their pain or discomfort!!!! And no....narcotic seeking was not what he was there for! We simply wanted answers to why his chest pain was occurring, and so badly.
