Prices can be a little steep particularly for the clothes which are not always worthwhile. I bought a winter coat from Jane Norman which only lasted 1 winter (despite costing £80) but the shoe have always been very comfy and long lasting.

Basildon's Jane Norman is not very big and gets very busy. This does make it hard when looking around. The changing rooms are a nice size with plenty of hooks for your clothes. If you are buying clothes in the sale you dont get a month to decide if you are going to keep your purchase, so I always try sale clothes on before buying.

Nice clean and tidy changing rooms. I particular like the childrens clothing and find it age appropiate for my 7 year olds. Overall I find the price to be well worth the quality, it has some more pricey items but these tend to be 'clasiics' that you will have in your waldrobe forever. A busy shop but you never seem to queue for very long.

There's a nice variety of bits but my favourite sections is definitely the shoes. Everything is reasonably prices and easy to view. There's also a good range of sizes. The changing rooms are nice and big and there's always one available. There's often a queue in this shop, as it's so popular, but there are always at least 3 staff on the tills and the queue goes down fairly quickly.

Their clothes are not too expensive. New Look offers a 28 day money back return policy providing you have your receipt. I'm always buying stuff I'm not sure of and taking it back after trying it in the comfort of my home. They do have about 20 changing rooms, but on a Saturday these can be very busy. As well as buying clothes for going out I also buy alot of my work clothes at New Look as they are good value and last. I also find that if the tills are very busy downstairs, I go upstairs and pay. There's hardly anyone waiting upstairs.
