On my recent jaunt to Wetherby my Mum and I discovered a whole bunch of lovely little places to investigate. I love browsing through a town I've never been to before, there are so many delights to discover, and happily this is one of them.
Bon Bons, not affiliated with the Bon Bons in town so far as I can tell, is another wonderful ye olde styled sweet shop. The counter at the front holds a wealth of delightful specialist chocolates that you can pick and choose from. (This invariably takes me an age to do, I'm so indecisive!) I opted for a white chocolate truffle, a raspberry white chocolate and a standard milk chocolate truffle - all of which were lovely.
They also have every possible old style boiled sweet, from Yorkshire Mix to Cough Candy Twists, so every whim and fancy is catered to. They've baskets of nougat, packets of chocolate buttons in a rainbow of colours, and many a high end brand bar of chocolate to boot. Pretty much, this place has got all sweets covered.
If you're in Wetherby town and you fancy sweetening the day, this is the place to do so. The lady was reasonably pleasant, and patient with my Mum and I as we ummed and ahhed over which treats to pick, so all in all it's a lovely place.
