While waiting two emplyees pushing a big cart walked by me, one came up and ordered me to move out of the firelane which I had two wheels over the line. Very rude and demanding tone. They came back around the building walked right by my car again I asked her about the Pumpkin cart the is accually in the whole firelane. (See picture) She said that is part of the store and that is OK to that. A manager at the Fairbury,NE Walmart can talk to customers as if they are children, I wonder how the employees are treated. They are so happy in there I had to look up what city I was in to make sure I note it. The store had a lot of discounts and different variety of items. Especially for a small location. I had a free Starbucks from their new addition. It was a plus plus for me. When I shop I look for value, customer service,and cleanliness over all. They had all going today so 4 stars it is. I often come here over lunch or at the end of my work day. I work locally in Beatrice, but I commute to Lincoln. I typically stop in for their salads and veggie trays for lunches on days I forgot to pack. This lets me eat healthy and on the cheap. I like how they changed the store to feature these items directly as you enter the grocery store. This saves me time and gives me ample selection. Second, I do this for coming in after work to save my family time on last-minute items or the quirky thing or two we might need. This usually doesn't cause trouble as the place isn't crowded compared to Lincoln's Walmarts. My only drawback is the checkout system. This is more Walmart-wide than this story in particular. Often, machines do not work, or when using the app to scan and checkout via mobile, the software doesn't seem to work with the checkout stands. The staff are very nice and helpful though.

We parked just outside the south doors. We went to leave and was less than 5-10 feet from the South Doors, when the older gentleman, associate locked the doors. I asked him to make an exception and unlock the door to let us out, I explained my health and he just walked a few feet away from the doors. I turned to my husband and explained that I couldn't walk that far back to our car. This same associate then started taunting me very sarcastically. He followed us out the North doors making several very sarcastic comments. This associate needs some training on empathy, and disabilities! I will never go to this Walmart again!!!
