I was traveling and needed a cut for both my hair and beard, and needed something open on a Sunday. Boly was open, so I went. Parking is limited in front of the store, but there is more parking around the side and the back. I arrived as a walk-in, and found there were four people ahead of me, but I had the time so I waited. It didn't take long with two barbers working. The proprietors and clients were mostly Spanish-speaking - not a problem for me since I'm fully bilingual. A television tuned to a Spanish-speaking channel kept customers entertained. Not my favorite, but OK. A bit loud in my opinion. The chairs for customers who are waiting were rather hard and not comfortable, but were OK. The best thing was the young man who did my cut did an excellent job. He listened to what I wanted and was careful to do precisely what I asked. A gentleman's cut (no fades for me!), and beard trim. I am very happy with the way my hair and beard turned out. When he did the beard, he used a shaving cream while using a straight edge razor for defining the edges. No hot towel - and some of the shaving cream stayed in my moustache. I was able to rinse it out well later. So, the cut was great. The service could be improved when doing beards and shaves if they included a hot towel. But, I received what I needed for a reasonable price. read more
