I'm interested in starting my acting career. I'm 53 years old, is that to old to start?

No. Tv shows, films and commercials are always looking for adults your age.

Is it possible for an actor to audition from another state from Atlanta GA?

Hi Cat. I am sorry but I do not understand your question. If you are asking if Actors in Atlanta can audition for roles being cast in another state, the answer is yes. As long as your local representatives have access to auditions in those states… Read more

    William Reynolds Agency

    William Reynolds Agency

I am a young aspiring actor who has been looking for talent agencies for a few months now. And,…read moreback in April, I got a response from an actual talent agency...or so I thought. Anyway, so I walked in there, well-dressed and well-groomed, thinking I was about to get a real audition for a real talent agency. The first thing I noticed was that it didn't seem to be a conventional place for an acting audition. Instead of being a large room, it was an office. I sat in the waiting room for a few minutes, and the first thing Bill Reynolds did was make me read a binder of information...out loud. When we got into his office, it was clear that the place was unprofessional and messy, with photos of his "talent" scattered across the desk. Throughout the "audition", Bill told me untrue stories for about two hours. He claimed that he knew Tyler Perry, Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Burt Reynolds, Robert De Niro, Halle (which he pronounced "Holly") Berry and tons of other A-listers both living and dead. He told me how his agency was prestigious and well-known, and how he's gotten tons of talented people to work through his agency. Then he completely jumped the shark. He told me that I needed to pay over 300 dollars to get photos from a special facility or else I'd never make it. That's when my mother and I knew that the whole thing was a sham. Also, throughout the interview, he cussed a bunch and used terms like "oriental" and "retard". Long story short, avoid this guy at all costs!!!

This place is a sham. Bill Reynolds will tell you untrue stories for 2 hours, then put the hard…read moresell on to get you to buy pictures through them for $300. He was never on General Hospital, and they aren't a SAG approved agency. Any 5 star reviews for them on google and such are fishy, as they are worded similarly, and seem to be written by the same person. Avoid this place.

Lesa tells infinite lies. Be wary of these 5 star reviews. I've never been told so many lies by…read moresomeone who is actually in business anywhere and hasn't gone completely bankrupt. I am flabbergasted & gave her a million chances to make it right, but she does not see us as valued clients. All she sees are cash cows! Do not fall prey. To start, I have been repped by an agent previously. in ONE month, he had me meet far more potential casting directors for commercials & modeling than she did in over a year AND I didn't pay a fee with him. Period. What I believe this woman needs is a class action lawsuit and no I'm not kidding. Let's start from the beginning. She responded to my app, went into office. She gives everyone the same song and dance- we just booked this person for this much money, and this for that and blah blah blah. The first lie is wildly overpromising implication that you will get bookings like this. Exact percentage unknown - assume 90% of you won't. She is not discerning in who she chooses to bring in as long as she can get her money from you. So, I asked multiple times - do I need the acting classes to get booked. I do not live anywhere near here and would like to use this money to take acting classes elsewhere. I told her this over & over. Every time she said no- you don't need the classes. She implied that I would see similar demand and bookings. She also told me that this money goes to the teachers. Sure, I'll bite. Maybe some of it does, but how much do you keep, Lesa? And don't lie... it will be hard for you. So, if you're part of the (exact percentage unknown- assume 90%+) of people who pay the $2K+ and never even get close to making this back, you aren't alone. Another lie - I wrote a review to this effect previously. She IMMEDIATELY sent me a text. I deleted it and thought maybe I'll give her another chance. Her canned lie is that her receptionist/admin saw the review and told her about it. FAT CHANCE- the review was up for about 15 minutes and she texted me literally right after I posted it. Ok, fast forward- it's been over a year and I can count on one hand the number of times I've been contacted about even potential prospects. So, I asked for a refund for the acting classes I never took. Goes to teachers, right??? Ok, so she pretended she was going to refund the money, but then quickly reneged. I don't mind paying for Tom Logan or the headshots, but I never took the classes. If your teachers are paid out of this money & you give any sh*ts about your clients, you'd refund money for classes I never took. So, she said it would come out of her account, etc. So, I said yep, I'll take the refund as you've had OVER a year to contact me with any gigs so that I could WORK and make the money back. Please note than one gig was booked for $75- enough for gas money and lunch what a joke. Ok, so, I think she's going to make this right and refund the money for acting classes, BUT SHE DOESN'T.. she starts sending me random bookings for other people and a bizarre one text about prom & all this random garbage. Yes, Lesa, I'm sure you book your top clients with gigs... Is it about 2%? But, a solid majority of her clients will NEVER and I mean NEVER get close to making that money back. What else? Oh, she said she wouldn't be in business for 30 plus years if it were a SCAM... beg to differ here. Jeffrey Epstein was in "business" for decades without getting caught. Since what you're doing - preying on the aspirations of young aspiring actors and models for a fee, you will fly under the radar. So, yes, I absolutely believe you'd still be in business even though most of your customers get metaphorically screwed. Did I mention I'm in sales? I've had to refund fees - even if the fault was not my own to keep the relationship in tact. As we all know, actions speak louder than words- the fact that she won't refund my money for acting classes never taken (oh, and this last go around, the lie turned into - oh the acting classes ARE required to get bookings and make money)... yeah, they weren't when we first met. You just wanted my money. What did you spend it on Lesa? A new purse or a vacation? So, for the majority of us who never even get close to making this money back because she'll contact you less than a handful of times over 1.5 YEARS with low paying gigs, this woman needs to be hit with a class action lawsuit by ALLLLLL the people who never came close to making this money back despite her promises of grandeur and money in your first meeting with Lesa. This review is 100% true and it will be posted everywhere I can find a place to post. For those who were also scammed out of money, it's time we all band together because she does NOT care about you as a customer. She just wants your MONEY. DON'T DO IT!!!!! I'm certain many of you had similar experiences. Power in numbers. Feel free to contact me. People who prey on others are the lowest of the low. Poachers. Thanks for the lies, Lesa!
