Additionally it has a pretty decent beer, wine and liquor selection. Wojtek, my server, spoke English and took excellent care of me. He suggested a nice red wine (after he told me the Polish wines were less than) to go with my meal of roasted quail and dumplings. He brought out some butter-which I believe was French onion maybe-and bread while I waited for my food to come. I can't speak highly enough of the food. The meal-roasted quail with traditional polish apricot stuffing, served with diamond shaped potato dumplings fried on butter-was easily one of the best meals of my life. If you're saying, "Nah no fruit for me, thanks," you'd miss out on the best opportunity of your life. The quail is wrapped in bacon and the apricots are grilled and the flavors that come out of the combination are epic. Wojtek then recommended the creme brûlée which was also perfect, and I finished that with a latte. Is this place expensive? Yes, comparatively. Is it busy? Sure. But for 1.5 hours, I was able to watch the tourists stroll Castle Square and enjoy being in a fabulous, kindhearted city. I am a server too and I never once felt like I was being taken advantage or mocked because I didn't speak the local language. I've traveled all across this great planet stuffing my face, and I would come back to this in a heartbeat.

Until recently, when I had some time to kill after work and wanted to sit down somewhere to read a book but didn't feel like going to the Starbucks on the other side of the street. Okrąglak must have been amazing during the summer. Now, when they've removed their little outdoor seating arrangement and the customers are left with a couple of tables and bar stools inside, we end up with a tiny bar with huge windows and an amazing view at the Palace of Culture. I had a mug of mulled wine (12 pln) and enjoyed it very much. It wasn't entirely suited for my planned activity, which was reading a book, as mentioned above, but it was nice and cozy anyways and the bad lightening didn't stop me. The barman was nice with a smile on his face so I have absolutely nothing negative to say on that matter. I hope they'll remain a part of the vast map of Warsaw's pubs and clubs because I'd love to come here next summer! In the mean time, pop by for a mug of mulled wine or beer (they also have a wide selection of other alcoholic beverages and typical "pub" snacks, btw).
