The selection of cigars is a bit limited, but you should be able to find something you will like. A drawback is that they do not have a lounge, but there are some stunning areas to go enjoy the cigar, including the beautiful Ed Lisenby Lake. They now also offer a variety of beer to go in growlers or 16 ounce servings. They close early, before 5:00, so make sure you get there early. If not, better prepare for a drive to Dothan. I would recommend this establishment. The owner, John, is friendly and Ozark Cigar Company is a viable addition to the small town community of Ozark, Alabama. Go see for yourself.

He gave me a tour of his place and we talked for quite a bit on his plans for continuing his growth into a better place for the cigar fans of Dothan. The drinks were amazing and clearly crafted with care. Whether you're stopping in for a cigar, a cocktail, or just looking for a great place to spend an evening, I would highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back! If you'd like, I can also make it sound a little more casual, sophisticated, or cigar-enthusiast-focused.

They are expertly crafted, full of flavor, and easily some of the best I've had in the area. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special. It's comfortable, relaxing, and has the perfect vibe for sitting back, having a conversation, and letting the stress of the day fade away. Whether you're meeting friends or just looking for a quiet place to enjoy a drink, it strikes a great balance between upscale and welcoming. They also have a nice wine selection, which is a great option for non-cigar smokers. While it can get a little smoky at times, as you'd expect from a cigar bar, the ventilation system does a great job of keeping the space comfortable. You don't have to be a cigar enthusiast to enjoy 23 Court. Come for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere, and leave feeling relaxed. I'll definitely be back for another smoked Old Fashioned.

I was interested in trying the sweeter Connecticut "Luke Bryan" cigar; however, they sold me the wrong cigar, which was quite disappointing. I ended up spending $35 on a smoke that I didn't enjoy. I was not able to gauge the cigar prices, because I was not given a receipt. You walk into the space with the cash register in front bridging the front room to your right and the large humidor to your left. This is the largest humidor selection I have seen in Montgomery to date. You think you know what a given brand offers and then see Sanctuary carries a wider range of a given brand than you have commonly seen. The front room to the right offers plenty of comfortable seating conducive to conversation with what appears to be a gas driven fireplace for a very nice atmosphere. This is the best looking room in the house. The second room to the right as you walk further into the space is smaller and where you'll want to watch whatever games or matches on screen. A bit further on your left is the clean restroom. All the way back is the last room, second in size to the front room, but some seating will not be able to see the flatscreen. This room could use another flatscreen. Sanctuary is a very comfortable lounge space offering a great selection in the humidor. This is not a BYOB cigar lounge. They have a pretty good selection of liquor, but the pours appear a bit smaller than one is accustomed. The rates on the menu are reasonable, topping off around $18 if memory serves me well and some are absolutely fantastic at $7. Service is friendly and welcoming at Sanctuary. They close a bit earlier than I would like, but they want to run a tight ship at this lounge. That can be good and bad. On balance, this lounge offers the East Side of Montgomery a comfortable space and a well stocked humidor. Four stars!
