Came out a month ago to check out my fairly decent sized hardscaping project including backyard pavers and new front steps. Stephen said he wanted the job, mentioned ballpark pricing which sounded good to us, and promised a quote plus pictures of past work in a week... sent nothing. Zero follow up. His office assistant, Michelle, said they'd have something in the coming week... again, nothing. Now it's a month past and we're clearly not working together which is sad because we were looking forward to working with Bolesta. It's a shame how unprofessional this industry can be. read more

Stephen and his crew did an excellent job of creating a new backyard for me after it had been torn apart due to remedial works needing to be done due to a leaking oil tank. My backyard resembled a building site when Stephen arrived, and looked well worthy of a spot in Homes and Garden magazine when they left! A total makeover, including an automatic sprinkler system, took just over a week. Stephen's crew were on site each day, arrived in a timely manner, completed all the works tidily and efficiently and did it all in the high heat of the summer with no complaints. (I kept them hydrated with plenty of bottles of water! ). Stephen was often on site supervising the work. This has been a long awaited backyard renovation and I am very happy that I contacted Stephen quite by accident (I thought I was dialing a different company!). I've used Bolesta Landscaping for some design work in the past and was really satisfied with their professionalism and the time frame that they gave me to get the job done. I live about a forty minutes away from their office and they were originally recommended by a friend, so I wasn't sure if they would take the job. The owner came to my house and carefully inspected my yard as well as created a gorgeous design for the front of my house (turns out we both live in houses built in the 1800s so I wanted to keep the design modern and clean yet not take away from the beauty of the house). He nailed it! I am writing this post because I had a huge branch (almost the size of a small tree) fall from a tree that I probably should have taken care of in the past. Once again, I called and he and his crew came to my house and took care of it within 48 hours. I have an above ground pool and wanted to make sure there was no damage but couldn't see underneath the branches. Turned out the pool is fine and I don't have to worry anymore. Stephan did an amazing job in my backyard. We reached out to him and a few other landscapers for some ideas. My backyard was a dirt pit that was full of gravel and rocks and barely had any grass. Out of all the landscapers that gave us estimates, he was the most creative and within our budget. He removed all the gravel and rocks, replaced it with sod, added new bushes/shrubs, made a small area with stone for a tool shed, created a beautiful entryway to my backyard with stone and laid a pipe under the ground for drainage. The result is amazing and we couldn't be any happier with our new space. He was a pleasure to work with and his teammate, Michelle, is simply amazing! I've already contracted him for another job. This company is highly unprofessional. Contacted this company for a fairly sizable landscaping job ($40k+) and at first meeting to discuss everything went well. We were waiting to hear back from them on next steps when the office assistant called us on a Friday about 2 weeks later to let us know the very next day the team at Bolesta would be coming back to take another look at our property. I told her we had a wedding but she said no problem - we do not need to be home for this. Fast forward to the very next morning and Bolesta comes to visit, rings our doorbell, and requests we come out and talk to them about our yard again for a good 45 minutes while we are mid getting ready and rushing to get to this wedding that they knew about. We shrugged it off but thought it was a bit rude for them to show up with less than 24 hours notice and request we be available when we told them we weren't. Fast forward to about 2 months after they came to visit, and we heard nothing. Crickets. We followed up with Stephen via email multiple times on the status of the job. He didn't even respond to us. As homeowners we had to be available on a moments notice but I guess this company can ignore potential customers whenever they feel like it. Stephen himself didn't even respond but we finally got a note from the office assistant who simply responds that they cannot take on this job but they'd be "happy to help with smaller front yard projects". Gee, I'm glad it took us wasting our time and having to follow up with them directly to learn they decided not to take this on. Thanks for that. Needless to say, we will not be using them for any services. read more

CANCEL MY SERVICE..... I did not appreciate Stephen telling me I was bothering him with my text regarding the fence that was damaged by his crew ramming into it. Also, raising his voice and arguing with me was totally uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. I remained calm while he yelled at me for such a minor detail. All I expected was for him to repair the fence. Who treats a customer like that? I will hire someone else who has respect for a paying customer and takes responsibility for damage done by his crew. Recently contracted with Bolesta Landscaping to take care of our large yard, pruning and leaf removal. Steve came out , walked the property and gave us a fair quote for the service. The team rolled in this morning at 8 with at least 8 workers. It took two hours to get the yard in shape and they did a fantastic job. Couldn't be more pleased. Steve is on onsite supervising as well. They have all the equipment needed to complete the job properly. So glad we found a Landscaper to keep our place looking nice. Thanks to the Bolesta team!
