This was my first time going to this car wash. I really wish I had a better experience than what I did. Pictures below is what I had after a $32 full service car wash. I was thoroughly disappointed with what I saw inside because the outside was done really well but when I transitioned looking at the inside I was completely taken back I went back and had a conversation with the management but also those that cleaned my car and they did rectify the situation. Which I really appreciate. I wish I hadn't had this experience but I am glad that they did do what is right in the end. For that I will rate them four stars. read more

As my mom left town on 28 September she stopped for a car wash, she had to pay $2 extra to get the small area inside the tailgate, behind the last row of seats, the "trunk" of her minivan cleaned. Bringing her car wash to $36. It wasn't busy like I've seen it can be so there shouldn't have been a hustle to get it out of the bay but the windshield interior wasn't cleaned...hardly something that should be missed. Just a bummer that when you pay that much for a wash you expect it to come out... sparkling. I know there can be two or so guys cleaning and drying so maybe they got confused and each thought the other did it......but.... read more

Boler Express Car Wash - Wash & Pricing November 2024 - Car Wash Near Me - Saint Paul, Minnesota

I used to brag about this place. Raised price, charge extra now for mats that they do not take out and clean, extra for hatchback. Now charge a service fee? My two year old could do a better job. Nothing was cleaned. Joke. Avoid. read more

I paid to have trunk vacuumed, didn't even do it. Trash still on the floor, no air freshener at all. Highly disappointed

I want to warn people not to bring their cars to Boler Carwash on White Bear Avenue in St Paul. My car was driven in to the car wash incorrectly by the attendant, and as a result it came out of the car wash with a deep six inch slit in the inside of front passenger side tire. When my husband went to Boler to talk to them about this, he saw another car stuck on the rails which employees were trying to get out of the car wash using wood boards. He actually videoed this. Stay away from Boler to avoid this happening to you. read more

The last few times I went to Boler, the workers miss way to much 4 the money I spent. Hate 2 see a new business loose customers but if your car is not done i will go elsewhere were people car about the job there doing .I will tell all my car club friends not 2 waste there time @ money at Boler read more

I'm shocked. I have been going here for over 15 years. But as they keep going under new ownership I've gone less and less. Today I went and it's the last day I will ever go again. First of all they're spraying the mats as soon as you pull into the wash instead of at the end. The guy doing the spraying is spraying them and throwing them back in your car as he's spraying them. The floor of my car is wet. The man that was in front of me got it really bad his backseat must be soaked because the guy didn't stop spraying as he was throwing it in the car. Then when I got back in my car there was sticky stuff all over my seat that did not get wiped off. This speedometer area did not get wiped off there was a big smudge on the plastic covering that area. The dash was not completely wiped. The vacuuming was done very poorly. I need to go redo it when I get home. Part of the windows weren't wiped off. For 26.00 I would expect more! I'm very glad that they're opening up a new car wash on White Bear Ave in Maplewood. I guess we do need a new place to go! read more

This is hands down the best car wash in St Paul! Great service, amazing quality and cheaper than other full service car washes. Don't forget to tip! They are worth it! read more

This place has changed hands and Now sucks. Paid for Supreme exterior which includes Wheel and Tire dressings. I saw nobody attending to this and asked if it was done and they said yes they did it back on the line Obviously upon inspection they did nothing and lied about it. Congratulations you've lost a customer read more

They did a good job on my little black wagon. I opted for the full service for roughly 20.00. It was worth it to get rid of some of the winter dirt that has found it's way inside. They took extra time wiping it down inside when it came out of the auto wash. It did not take much time either which I really like because patience is not my greatest asset. read more

Boler Express Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Saint Paul, Minnesota

One of the best place to get your vehicle washed on the Eastside. Budget friendly(one of the most affordable places) on all levels of washes. This is cheaper than most self service car washes. They even wipe it after! The workers are quick and swift to get your car back nice and clean back to you. read more

This has been my go-to car wash since I bought my new car six months ago. I've been here more than a dozen times and I have always gotten the top of the line wash because it's a new car. Well, I was there a couple days ago and it was my last visit. As I pulled up a young woman approached my vehicle to ask which wash I wanted. She was not wearing a mask and when I asked her to wear one, she refused, claiming she has a "doctor's note" that exempts her! That is just bull. Asthma is a top risk factor for COVID and if your asthma is under control you have no issue with masking -- I speak from personal experience. If your asthma is not able to be controlled to should not be out interacting with the public. FYI she was also the person who would be waiting on me inside. I won't put myself at risk because a business decides they are not willing to protect their customers. I liked supporting this small local business. I always tipped the guys for their great work. But even after we lick COVID, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I go because it is close to my house but the last couple of times I've been fairly disappointed with how my car was cleaned. The first time - you could barely tell they vacuumed the trunk area. I wrote an email regarding this & never heard back. Took my vehicle back - thinking it was a fluke - but again - the vacuuming and interior cleaning was really poorly done. I want to support local small businesses but I think we've decided to stop going here because my car is just not getting cleaned the way we expect it to - for what we are paying. read more

Can't go wrong for a car wash with there price points 7$ wash best deal In the city for a car wash

cracked the windshield on a brand new car. Wouldnt even pay to have it repaired. DONT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU WANT ISSUES.

I used to go here consistently for years. The last few times, they really let me down. Not only was the person at the front desk not masked for COVID, but the quality was terrible. I'd get home and discover areas in the back seat or even the passenger side of the front had been missed completely, even on their top line wash. Disappointing. I've moved to a new service a bit further from me. read more

yo shout out to this place. very wholesome employees. I came to the place and it was packed. my car died in the line lol and two of the workers there (I didn't get their names but they were two Hispanic men in a blue and gray shirt) helped me jump my car but my car just wouldn't turn on. They gave me advice and pushed my car out of the way just being very nice and reassuring. Keep in mind there were cars lining up behind and the place was packed. and thanks to the lady taking car wash orders outside in the hot sun!! read more

Fantastic and fast service. Amazingly good value! I paid $20 for a job I felt fell just short of a full detail. The carpet and floor mats were vacuumed VERY clean. There always seems to be leftover bits of sand or gravel that sticks to your floor mats and their machine and process took that right out. My windows were washed inside and out, seats, dash, and all other surfaces wiped clean as well. They even hand detailed my car's door trim. I will use this service again! read more

The other Yelpers liked this place, 2 plus years ago, so I was expecting and hoping for a really clean car interior and I am disappointed to say it was only just okay. My car gets regular cleaning by me at home so it was not in too bad of shape and honestly, I do a better job...for free. Carpet still salty, doesn't really look like they even vacuumed under my floor mats. Lots of crumbs left in nooks and crannies. Air compressor could have reached those spots. Save your money or keep looking for a great, not just okay, car wash/detailer. The new ownership does not have the same standards as the couple who used to own it did according to a patron I chatted with there. read more

I drove past this business and saw the special for a 7$ car wash. Never been there before. Pull in and there is a sign saying wait for attendant. I wait for about 5 mins and no one comes out. Look over prices and decided to get the 12$I saw that there was a worker on the other side towards the entrance of the actual wash so I pull up and he comes to my window. I tell him that I've been waiting for an attendant and no one came. He told me to get out of my car and that I should go pay while he runs my car through. Mind you again I've never been to this car wash. I walk inside the path to the counter was super confusing. Place was kind of dark but found the attendant who is also the manager standing at the desk. I said hello I'm here to pay for my car wash I was sent in by the man outside. She from the very start was extremely rude and all hyper and said your supposed to pay outside at the stop sign. There is a sign that says wait for attendant. I explained that I waited but no one came and that the man instructed me to get out of my car and then pay inside. She said I didn't wait that she wasn't gone that long and that I'm not supposed to drive around until I pay. Then said ok well it will be 19$. Your programmed for the 19$ wash. I said oh I only want the 12$ wash actually. She said well your car is being run for the 19$ wash so ITS 19$!!!!! I asked her why she was getting all worked up, that I'm just trying to explain what happened and why! I've never been here before and I was told to come pay after the wash. To me if she was a good manager even a decent one she could have tried to understand the situation and met me halfway. She could have just charged me for the 12$ wash and tell me for next time the correct process of their business. No what she did instead is yell at me and then run from behind the counter out into the car wash and tell the workers to stop the wash and back my car out because I didn't have money to pay. She literally screamed SHE DOESNT HAVE 19$ BACK HER CAR OUT! I was so completely shook. I ran out to the wash and asked the lady if I can't just get the 12$ wash she said no that they already programmed the 19$ wash and it's too late . I said ok so the next person that comes in what if they don't want a 19$ wash ? What then ? She said no that the next person will want a 19$ or 22$ wash. She then went inside. I told the workers I apologize for the confusion. They were very nice and decided they would hand wipe my car as a nice gesture for the extremely rude and unprofessional behavior of the manger. Then she came out again with her dog and threatened the employees. She asked them if they were wiping down my car and she yelled that they have to have customers pay before hand !! I told her it's not their fault it's her fault for not being there to take my money in the first place. She told me to get out and not come back! So unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH!!!!! read more

Very unprofessional manager. She was rude and on the border of bullying me. She said I cut in front of a car. But what I saw was a car parked off to the side. She even had the full to look at the surveillance camera?! read more

According to Google they claim to be "brushless" wash. Not knowing the difference I asked the clerk and her response "...we are not a brushless car wash". Who to believe? Further research indicates that a real brushless can do more harm to the finish because of the higher concentration of soap So much for attention on the consumer than the profit read more

Self serve carwash!! First time I went there was on Tuesday for the 50c carwash. I didn't have any quarters so I went inside to get chance. Right before I was going to insert my dolla dolla bills into the change machine some guy came up to me and ask that i go to him. I think he worked there. Well anways I gave him 2$ and he gave me 2 tokens....... I tooke it and proceeded to wash... What I didnt think about was if i should have gotten 4 tokens because it was 50c tuesdays... hmmmm... either way I only used one and FORGOT the other one in the wash.. booo :( so the fiesty lady that demanded I move got a free wash. Second time there I went on a normal 1$ day.Threw in 4 quarters and started goin at it.. but all of a sudden when I was still soapin up the car it ended... it seems a LOOOOOT shorter than my first time around. Luckily I had another 4 quarters so I hurried through. I finished the wax and was going to do the final rinse.....but when i turned on to it, nothing came out!!!...so i continued to wax!.... Overall its soooooo supercheap that you can't really complain....but there is room for complaints hence the only 3 star rating (rinse didnt work, no timer display, no beeper notification when time is runnig out) , but i'll be back if im in the area! p.s sunny day on a tuesday=SUPPPPER BUSY!!! read more

wasted almost an hour in line for a shitty wash. car basically looks the same. stay away

Purchase the works today and I felt like I only got the seven dollar wash, the guys were standing around my car barely even wiping anything. One guy pull one carpet out and vacuum it right inside the car while dust is flying back inside. When I went to the car I said how come you guys didn't vacuum the trunk or the backseat area, they never replied and just shrugged their shoulders. At this point I'm like you know what can you just wipe the entire windows because they're still wet and the exterior windows are still wet I need to go to work. So the guy used an oily rag and now my exterior Windows are oily and streaky, upon leaving my mirrors weren't even wiped as well. I tried calling five times as I left the car wash no answer, are used to come here once a week now I'm not gonna go back. read more

I don't want to rate them this low because in the past I've had great experiences. BUT, I stopped in there this afternoon to get a full wash and interior cleaned. I stopped at the window told the clerk what I wanted but was told it was too late because they close at 6, this was 5:40pm. That is poor work ethic in my eyes if you're open until 6 then all of your services should be available until 6. So buyer beware if you want the full interior/exterior wash be there before 4pm. read more

You can't find a better $7 dollar car wash!... The people are very nice, they do a great job, and the more expensive options are worth it as well. you get a pre-soak/spray with a scrub before you enter the actual car wash, they open the doors and shoot compressed air in the mirrors, locks, door jams/hinges, and hand dry everything. Well worth $7 dollars. More so when you compare it to a $8 or $9 dollar all automatic was @ a gas station. I heart the this place. read more

$7 for a hand prewash, quality machine wash, hand dry, compressed air in the locks and windows....yep....I'm a fan. Much better results than what I've experienced at Mr. Car Wash. read more

Boler Express has been my go-to place for car washes for decades. Sadly, it is nowhere near what it was under its previous owners. I had my car washed on Tuesday. The "face" of the carwash is the woman behind the counter. She's as rude as she can be. The wash itself was great. The men work hard, and work fast, and I always leave a sizable tip. The next day, I noticed my pricey WeatherTech floor mat for the driver's seat was missing. I went to Boler Express, and called. It wasn't open because of rain. I called the next day, and the woman, again, was rude. She told me to stop by and bring the other mat. I did that. She huffed around and, genuinely, was crabby. Rather than apologizing, she simply pointed at a man who could show me where they kept missing floor mats. The man was helpful, and I found my mat. The point is, I shouldn't have had to return to reclaim my mat, but when I did, I should have received an apology and have been treated decently. read more

They did an excellent job with my car both inside and out. I have two kids so the backseat was a goldfish and teddy graham graveyard. After they were done it was it looks amazing; I couldn't have done better. read more

Awesome place! Only complaint I have is if you just get the plain car wash, they don't open all the doors and wipe them down so that they don't freeze shut in the winter. But when I upgrade....they REALLY do a GREAT job!! Worth it! read more
