Now I have been lifting my hair color to allover blonde for quite a few years so I wanted a slight change - dimensional blonde but with a chop! (Look for the before and after photo.) With that being said, I felt comfortable with Claudia from the start and we began chatting away like old pals as she worked quickly and efficiently applying color. I LOVED my cut and color; it had so much dimension and exactly what I wanted! Ever since our first session, I have been back countless times and every time I walk out feeling like a supermodel - especially since they end with a lovely hair photoshoot. She was finishing up her current client and asked me if I wanted a water or soda while I waited in their comfortable waiting area. They have soft comfortable chairs and couches and reading material on the waiting tables. They also had this cute self love card that had little comments such as "you are loved", "you are beautiful", etc which I thought was a nice touch. Their single bathroom is clean and bright with cute decorations. The decor in the styling area was modern abstract with crazy cool triangle mirrors. While the decor and ambiance of a business is great and all, it is also great that the place was clean. The floors were very clean and all the stylists there were sure to clean up and sanitize as well. Alex was very nice and social, she knew exactly what she was doing and I felt confident in her styling. She was also always asking me if I was comfortable or needed anything which was wonderful. I am not a big talker when getting my hair done since I always get super sleepy when someone is messing with my hair LOL. I had biolage done and a trim which took about 2.5 hours. Very happy with the coloring and trim. One of my favorite things about this salon was the rinsing sinks and the neck support. I booked an online haircut for "short" (there is no description for what short, medium, or long…read moremeans, I had slightly below shoulder length hair and wanted it cut to be above two inches). When I got to the shop I was immediately asked who I booked with and what it was for. They did not ask my name to look me up. When I said Michael they asked me to take a seat. Two ladies and Michael then gathered around the front desk 3 feet away from my chair and offered to take the appointment for him. He asked the ladies why it was booked for him and they said it was online. He sighed rolled his eyes and said "No I will do it". He told me it would be a medium cut as short was around the ear length. Once I got in the chair he was friendly. But he did not listen to me about what I wanted my cut to be and he kept correcting me on my terms for hair-cutting tools and how I did not want it done. He did it the way he wanted and my hair did what I told him it would (I have thick, fine, straight-as-a-board hair) it fizzed out and looked like someone chopped at it instead of doing layers or thinning underneath where it is not visible. That is the only way to give me volume and take the weight off without giving weird frizz lines in my hair. Then they charged me for a long haircut without saying why I was charged for long and not medium. It took 27 mins to do my hair and I have never been so ready to be out of a salon. Do not go here if you are looking for a cut. Do not book with Michael if you want the price you were originally told and do not come if you don't want them to comment on your coloring and try to upsell you to fix it.

I thought my hair was completely hopeless and it was not only broken at the ends and fried and super dry from the chemicals but it also had an orange-yellowish tint to it that no cover ups or toner could cover up or lift. Let me tell you, she was not only a savior in helping bring my hair back to life, but she also made it look amazing, feel super soft and manageable and brought it back to health completely. I love the peaceful grounding vibes throughout the place from the different treatment rooms, cozy quiet space (waiting area), aromas, coffee and tea bar and serene music playing. I like how a robe and slippers are provided to relax in. It definitely has a very fancy vibe which I wasn't sure about at first, but the whole experience has been good!
